Bought one to test, bought 3 more after 1 day of testing
The media could not be loaded. TLDR:PROS: works like magic, has prevented a ton of spillsCONS: can't always tell by feel if your drink is empty, don't get the bottom dirty.DETAILED VERSION:I was originally looking for some sort of cup holder for a table in our van. I thought I'd probably have to settle for something that clamped onto the side of the table, but then I found the listing for this product. One of the pictures in the listing showed the thing stuck to the side of a sail boat cabin at a weird angle, and I immediately had doubts, but based on the reviews and the off chance that it might actually work, I bought one to try. The first day I learned how the physics behind it works and I was very impressed - it's really a great design (and I have 3 engineering degrees so I know what I'm taking about). My big drink tumblers are 30 oz Yeti-style, and they fit in this device just fine. When I pick up my tumbler the ToadFish usually comes with it, which is totally fine with me, but I can also easily pull out the tumbler by itself by pulling up at a bit of an angle. I think my video shows this better than I can describe. The ToadFish itself is heavier than you'd expect, which has no effect on its ease of use, but it lowers its center of gravity making it more stable. The only problem with it is you can't always tell by feel how full your drink is, because you might be feeling the weight of the ToadFish. (First world problems.)The only real negative we found is the possibility of messing up the seal on the bottom by getting it dirty. At one point I put it on a counter that had some crumbs on it, the crumbs stuck to the silicone ring on the bottom, and the magical function of the toad fish was temporarily ruined until I washed the bottom off. The solution to that has been very simple - now I leave the ToadFish on the table and remove my tumbler from it to get a refill. That tiny bit of awareness of keeping the bottom clean is the only thing you really need to worry about to keep it working like magic. Watch my video. I'm an enormously large and strong person and I'm not at all gentle with it and it works like a champ. My wife and I have gotten in the habit of texting each other "ToadFish" when either of us would have knocked over a drink had it not been for the ToadFish. To say that happens at least once every few days is not an exaggeration. If you're less klutzy than we are it will be less common for you, but the first time a pint glass of red wine (don't judge) gets knocked sideways and DOESN'T spill on the cream-colored carpet, you'll agree this thing is worth it.Keep the silicone ring on the bottom clean.EDIT: We're now up to 5 of these!

Impressive
We are professional truck drivers and needed a cup holder for the sleeping area. The truck is very shakey, so nothing would stay put on the table. This thing works wonders and has withstood the worst roads. This would work great for RVs as well. The only issue we had is that this will not stick to whatever material our dashboard is made from. I think this is because it's not perfectly flat and smooth. It's textured. Overall, very impressed.

I’m going to be attending a class and I can be quite “clumsy” on a smallish desk. Wanted something to prevent spills. It’s a little tight for the cups (20-30 ounce Yeti type cups). When you pull up to get the cup out the whole thing comes with it. Maybe that was the intention. Turning cups in to sucky cups rather than just being a cup holder. Not a huge deal because you just put down again and it sticks. Unfortunately it needs to be on a very very smooth surface. I took a star off because it just doesn't adhere quite as much as i would have liked it too. But it’s not too awful bad. I “think” it’s going to prevent little taps which could send my coffee to the floor.

Perfect for Outdoor Leisure
I use this when I am paddle boarding and absolutely love it. Being able to have an easily accessible drink I don’t need in my hands at all time when in motion is a luxery my friends were all jealous of until purchasing their own.The suction is high quality and easy to use allowing you to focus on whatever you may be doing and not worry about spilling your drink. The cup holder does provide added insulation for an extra positive feature. If you kayak or paddle board I would highly recommend but also see use in other outdoor leisure activities such as golfing which would open up an extra cup holder for your group!

Awful
Fell off and sank into the ocean - what a waste of money. Don’t put this on a stand up paddle board. Suction is not good.

Doesn’t work on all surfaces
I tried on granite and Formica, but I have a metal tray that I bought it specifically for, it will not even attempt to stick! So I have no use for it

They sink
Seemed to be working great on our paddle boards until the board tipped and the cup holder immediately came off. Also they sink so now they are both at the bottom of the lake. Would have liked to use more than once but no. Gone. Bad design should probably float.
