Star Wars Child's Clone Trooper Costume, Large

I bought this as a small reward present for my 6yr old son who is a Star Wars obsessive, particularly so over the clone wars era.The costume is basically a thin fabric all over suit with printed details. The feet are covered with a thicker, padded fabric that goes over shoes to give the illusion of wearing boots, however no gloves are included (white gloves would have been good). The child climbs into the suit which fastens at the back with a couple of bits of Velcro. The “helmet” is actually a plastic face mask with a clear visor which does not give great vision. The mask is also a bit uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. I chose the medium (5-7) size and the fit was just right for my 6yr old, who is fairly tall for his age. Whilst it is far from perfect, my son loves this costume which is essentially all you want from such a product.I notice a few people have been disappointed with the quality of the costume, but it was pretty much as expected for me - my son already owns the Kylo Ren costume from the same range. At around £18 at the time of purchasing, this particular costume was overpriced, but as my son was adamant he wanted the 501st clone as opposed to the more reasonably priced Death Trooper (circa £10) I tried to push on him, I ended up having to bite the bullet!

This is a bit rubbish really, particularly as it is quite expensive for a dress up item (comparable quality iron Man costumes with masks that we have purchased have been in the region of £12). The suit itself is made from very cheap material. It has a big slit in the front (for the child to climb in and out of) which never really stays shut as it just has a few velcro squares on it. The leg parts twist round so the flared bits that are meant to go over shoes (which kid wears shoes when dressing up at home?) twist around and don't stay covered. In the picture their are white gloves, which was the main factor in my son choosing it. The suit arrived without gloves, it was only when reading the description more clearly later on (once the suit was here) that it states no gloves. The Helmet in the photo isn't what you get either, a rubbish mask that doesn't stay on. What annoys me most is how misrepresented this is by the photo they are using to sell it.

Bought a large that is supposed to fit age 8-10, on the packet it says usa 12-14. My child who wears age 8 clothes in everything was tripping over inches of spare fabric in the legs and body.The mask is badly scratched and hard to see through.
