I take a women's size 7/8 and I got an XXS in these and they fit baggy but I love them....fit nice drawstring waist and ankles good for hiking, wash nice, pockets don't stick out just an all around nice pant ....buying another pair

I am a field biologist working mostly in the California mountains and Nevada deserts, and I thought these pants were ok, but too baggy for my applications. After trying LOTS of pants, my favorites are Kuhl Splash pants. They have the best blend of usable pockets, durability, decent in the heat, and fit. They go over boots well, but aren't silly bulky or super high waisted. Good luck on your dig!
