Assembled: Transform Everyday Objects Into Robots

I got this for a teenage granddaughter who demonstrated an interest in making things out of random objects. Having been to a found art studio, I knew that this is just the creative outlet for her. She received the book yesterday and loved some of the ideas. I can't wait to see what it inspires her to create!

This book is full of imaginative and inspiring ideas to create wonderful characters.I really enjoyed it.

If you enjoy puttering around, and making creations just for the fun of it, you'll enjoy this book.Although it gives directions, I find it's best use is inspiration. I built 4or 5 whimsical things from yard-sale finds.Folk-art Fun!

Lots of photos of robots!Not sure if I'm capable of making these. Was looking for assemblage with all types of media, which I've now found on YouTube.I must admit I'm disappointed that there's not step by step photos of the robots being made. And also disappointed there are so many pages of photos of materials used...I mean 2 whole pages with blown up images of half a dozen things. Could have fitted a lot more information in. But that's my opinion.Loads of photos of ready made robots. Defeats the object.
