Works great
I especially like that I can place miniscule amounts of this on pins before soldering. No wastage and much quicker to do the job. I now wished I had used a syringe years ago.

Seems to work well for the intended job
I have not had the need for thise sort of product as my electrical work has always been with items that are on a larger scale and can be soldered with general lead solder. However, after retiring I found that my electrical hobby calls for some soldering with miniature components. So, this was oredered and will be doing the job that I need from time to time.I gave it a try and it does a pretty good job. It takes some time to master its use so as time goes on I will become better at distributing this stuff. My present experience was that it is a little difficult to not overlap the solder points. Not sure if it is the product of just me. (I suspect that it is just my inexperience) But I can say that it does soften and flow fairly well under a heat gun designed for this sort of use. It requires a special tip on the heat gun to direct the heat to the component to be soldered and not on neighboring components. So, if you plan to use this I suggest that you look into a proper electronics service heat gun set up.Comes in a plastic sealed bag and includes the tube full of solder, about .5oz. Also includes the plunger and 4 different tips to allow you to tailor the amount used. Try it first on a spot where you can feel the flow rate. The tube has a resealable cap. The melting point is 183*C or about 362*F.So far I am pleased with the product and will know more about its quality as I get a bit more experience with it.

Meh…
It worked, but took a lot of heat to melt. My air station is set to 350 and still took some time to melt. I was fearful that the partially plastic component was also going to melt. It did work better soldering a micro USB port (all metal outside) than the plastic connector, which makes sense. I will be trying Kester as a comparison since their regular solder is the best - hopefully their paste is as well.
