This is a spring loaded curtain rod, it is recommended though it whatever you put it up were there be in the hallway or in the doorway did you measure the area? Did you want to put it up in.It is strong it is durable and it will stay up to where you need to be. This is great for a bedroom family room somewhere where you want to cut off eye sight to that part of the house provides privacy and yet letting you pull that area down as well.

This tension rod is versatile. If you have creative thinking then you can come up with some innovative ways to make good use of it instead of its usual purpose.For instance, it can be useful inside cabinets. You can use hooks and hang kitchen or bathroom wares from it.It has good tension on windows to hang curtains from. It's great because I can put it in my window instead of having to drill holes to install a typical curtain rod. It stays put. No worries of it loosening.

These look decently formal and are very reliable in installation method. Did not expect such a high quality product from the Amazon basics line but it really worked so well and my curtains are still up!

This rod is excellent! I have it over my patio doors and I am constantly opening and closing the curtain. The rod always holds perfectly. Strongly recommend it. Very satisfied.

I have a 96" window span, and I tried another curtain rod that claimed to work for that size. Thankfully, I was able to return it and buy this curtain rod instead. It works as Advertised!

It easy and good quality....

It has good strength when steady but keeps falling if some weight is kept it there is jerk on the adjustment. The spring adjustment is not strong it seems or I need more strenght on the spring during installation.
