Sure cant wait to read the next book! I love the character development, storyline and the great action. Truly makes you think what people would be like in such a scenario. Makes you want to prep for the inevitable insanity. Well done.

This book is a good read for an avid reader of disaster scenarios. A little wordy in character reflections, but the author fleshes out the characters' stories well. The drama draws the reader in for tense and actionable scenes. Will stay intrigued for the continuing story.

Harley Tate never disappoints. This series has great characters and an interesting story. Characters are believeable and you have enough background for their story. Plot moves along fast, lots of action, with twists and turns. Nothing is easy for the main characters. They are regular people trust into a violent environment.

Intense action on almost every page! Realistic emotional struggles to deal with the impact on family relationships keep you glued to the story!

I didn't care for this book. It was to dark and hopeless. There has to be hope for the primary characters!

I enjoyed this book, the 3rd in the series. The characters are well written and interesting. I enjoyed books 1 and 2 more. This one is going down the cliché road. Evil preacher, overbearing government starting up. I thought books 1 and 2 were more original.

My only complaint in the last books was that Liz was too weak and her family had to carry the load for her. In this book the mamma bear was awakened when Lana was in danger and Caleb and Derek were not there to protect Liz and Lana. Liz became a warrior to save her daughter and now the entire group is much stronger as they head into the west. I see many battles in their future as the US Government decides to put Martial Law into effect rather than helping communities save as many as they can from the disasters that continue to plague the country after the astroids fell. I look forward to more books in this exciting series

Good dystopian tale. Can’t wait to read more in book number four! Things do not seem to be getting better for the characters in spite of what they have had to endure a meteor, acid rain, huge tornados, ash storms, not to mention their fellow man.

Really enjoying this series so far .It's fast paced and full of action . The group go from one disaster to another . Will they ever find a safe haven ? Looking forward to the next book.
