You will have no use for any other crystal book once you have this one. It has the truest / best photos, descriptions and uses I’ve ever seen. It contains the physical aspects (hardness and structure), places of origin, chakra correspondence and a TON of metaphysical information. The book’s author has dedicated her life to identifying and using crystals, has travelled across the world and has been an expert / teacher for many years. I love that this book provides stellar photos of many variations of stones. For example, it provides photos of the Jade family (jadeite, nephrite) - most books only show photos of one variation and the quality of the photos don’t show the true colors. This book shows the true colors, variations, striations, intricacies, details, etc. I also love that this book is beginner and advanced-friendly. So - whether you’re just starting out or already have an abundance of knowledge, this book will be your best friend. You get the science and the metaphysical. In addition to all of this - I love that there is SO MUCH information! It explains which part(s) of the country crystals come from; in the appendix you will learn which stones work well for different scenarios and why (sleep, manifestation, passion. At the beginning of the book you will learn about sourcing and caring for crystals, how to clean them, cleanse them, charge and program them. You will learn about the sacred geometry of crystals as well. And the crystals are all in alphabetical order. BONUS with this book: you can use it as an Oracle!!! Ask a question, flip it to a page and you can read the “magical message for you” portion of the description. FINALLY a book that has it ALL. Dr. Athena Perrakis and her team at Sage Goddess have presented such a wealth of knowledge in a clear, concise layout wrapped in a bow of stunning photography!! Each page presents the reader with easy-to-understand teachings, and I love that she's included information for beginners and advanced practitioners alike! This is truly a must-have for anyone with a love of crystals and crystal healing, and the fact it was made to double as a crystal oracle is an amazing party bonus!!

First of all, the photography is beautiful. It truly captures the beauty and majesty of the earth’s sacred crystal collection. The information is thorough; designed for both the beginner and the advanced practitioner. From this book you will learn historical uses; mining locations; spiritual, physical and emotional applications for each stone. As an added bonus, Athena gives pointers on how both beginners and advanced practitioners can utilize the stone’s healing gifts. I highly recommend this book. It is extremely affordable, is a great resource and is beautiful to boot. This book was born to be read, used, referred to often, passed down and/or passed on. If you are called to stones, you need this book!

If you are a crystal lover at all,, this book is a must have ! With all of the great reference books out there,, yes we all have learned a lot about crystals for many years.. But this one,, is so very different! I pose a question,, How can we really know and understand something without the knowledge of how and where it was created?. Crystalpedia is a 368 page "GEM' that tells you exactly the how and whys of each crystal listed. How and why they came to be,,and what went in to their creation ,,literally from the "ground up". When you need a healing crystal, for instance you now can understand scientifically why it will and can be used for what it was intended, and with the outcome that you can be sure of. I was blown away by this comprehensive guide! You can tell the author , Athena , is genuine about her story and has collected years of heartfelt honest knowledge to write this incredible guide . It's put well put together ,, with gorgeous pictures to allow you to identify your crystals and easily understand everything that you need to know. Crystalpedia also acts as a kind of an oracle guide. Ask a question, and allow your intuition kick in as you flip through the pages and see where you stop,, its amazing what you will find. The knowledge doesn't stop at just crystals,, Chakras, astrology,,,the power of the moon and alot of other magickal subjects are touched upon. So happy with this book that i had to come here and write a review. Its perfect for beginners like me. Its has the basic info and history about the crystal but most of the information is how to use them for healing. Also love how it tells you which crystals you can pair with each other.

… this is better Gorgeous cover, very well laid out. Alphabetical listings make it easy to navigate. A good amount of info comes with each entry and the photos are gorgeous. I think this book can sit comfortably with any of the great tomes by Hall, Melody, Simmons et al for now. In a few years I wouldn’t mind an expanded edition 😘

Dr. Athena Perrakis has done it again! Another excellent book, so beautiful so complete. The perfect photography and perfect amount of information for each Crystal. The best starting place for a beginner or a welcomed addition to any Magical library. With the addition of Athena’s Activation 11 which expands further the Synergy 12 crystals. I highly recommend this book to those who want the most complete Crystalpedia. I can’t wait for volume two
