Confusion! Love this product!
I think with the previous reviews people are confusing this product with a regular cleanser, which it is not, it is a balm to melt the make up away. You take an amount, NO water, and massage just the balm into the skin melting all the make up and then rinse it away once all the make up has melted! Then cleanse again afterwards with a regular cleanser and water. This is a two step cleansing product, this being the first cleanse! Followed by a second cleanse, great for people who wear makeup and need a two step cleanse routine! Love this product and it lifts all the make up ready to wash away! Great Job Bondi sands! I've always loved your pruducts and now Loving the skincare range!!

Stinks
Disgusting. Absolutely stinks. Felt like I was rubbing lard on my face.

Cleansing emollient, kind to skin leaving it soft and supple.
Bondi Sands Melt Me cleansing balm: Interesting product, not really used a cleanser like this before. It’s got a texture like soft paraffin. It’s a thick emollient which massages easily across the skin, not too much required and then it emulsifies when you add warm water and effectively removes makeup and crud from the day. Although it says it has a lemon fragrance I can’t smell anything, which suits me.The ingredients appear very ethically and skin friendly. It certainly hydrates skin and leaves it feeling very soft rather than dried out which many cleansing products which I’ve used with water do. It recommends using a cloth to rinse it off- I’m not a fan of using cloths on my face but actually it is the best way to ensure it’s properly removed. At £11.99 for 100mls is fairly mid range but should last well and it’s definitely kind to my skin so something I’ll probably use again in the future.

Obsessed
For those of us that enjoy wearing makeup regularly, it's always important to have a product that removes makeup thoroughly at the end of the day, without irritation and without causing any spots! For many years, I used to think it was easy as using a quick baby wipe and then scratching my head wondering why my skin still got spots from blocked pores. Now I really like to use a balm or lotion that works hard on the pores to remove all aspects of dirt and oil. I love this cleansing balm as it feels luxurious on the skin. Don't need to use a lot of it either. This balm works fabulously to remove any trace of makeup whilst also hydrating it. Every time I use it leaves my skin feeling soft as anything, very clean and not oily or sticky at all. I also like how gentle is on your skin. The balm can be used as part of a double cleanse but if I have not been wearing makeup, working out etc I will just use it on its own as it’s definitely enough to give your skin a really good clean. All in all, a lovely product with a great formulation that works as advertised.

left feeling greasy
i absolutely loves this brand so i was a bit gutted that this just wasn't for me. It left a layer on my skin that felt greasy and thick - and it just didn't seem to remove anything i wanted it too.it has no scent which was disappointing as i feel bondi sands products always smell lovely and the product itself felt thick and heavy.not something i would be purchasing in the future unfortunately.

I don't like it
The cleansing balm feels thick, slimy, and it’s impossible to scrub off even with a hot cloth- plus it smells nasty like cheap, expired kid lip gloss. I tried it three times and the results are okay

Awful
Looking at the other reviews I'm convinced we didn't get the same product? This cleanser is gross. This is described as a 'balm', and comes in a flip cap tube. What you actually get is more like a tube of grease. It has the consistency of cold, hard vaseline, and dispenses as a hard yellowish gel - again just like vaseline. The second thing I noticed was it stinks - it smells like varnish - like gloss paint as its drying. Definitely not something I want me sin to smell of.As its so hard you need to moisten it to spread it on your face. It does lather and turn white, but its hard to rinse off as it still leaves a greasy residue on your skin. It didn't remove my mascara, or eyeliner - leaving me with panda eyes, but did a good job with my foundation. There was no irritation of my eyes or skin when using this but it does make your vision cloudy/blurry if you get it too close to your eyes.I usually use a cream make up remover, and will definitely be sticking with that. Avoid.

Natural cleansing without drying 🇦🇺
This facial cleanser has a kind of whipped vaseline type of consistency. It is very velvety & smooth. It's to be applied to dry skin, massaged in & rinsed with warm water.I find it cleanses really well without drying out my (dryish) skin. It does a fairly good job. I don't like that it's fragrance-free although some people orefer that (eg. If you have sensitive skin). It'd be nice if they made this with authentic essential oils, or varieties with for example frankincense essential oil (very good for the skin), Geranium & orange essential oils, lemon/lime foe summer etc.It has excellent ingredients, no chemicals or SLS's, parabens etc. As you can see in photo, it contains really healthy ingredients such as Sunflower Oil (I've heard this is very good for the skin), castor oil, sea buckthorn oil, ceramic essential etc & I'm quite impressed by it.All in all, a great cleanser for dry, sensitive & perhaps even those prone to eczema (don't quote me on that as I don't have eczema but from the feel of it). Worth a try anyhow!Made in Australia 🇦🇺
