Bought this because we are tired of painting our opaque water tote black every year (to prevent algae growth). Fits perfectly and has velcro openings at the top water entrance point and at the bottom water exit point. Elastic and clips easily wrap around corners of metal tote frame to keep it in place. Lightweight yet durable. Wish we'd known about this product years ago!NOTE: all totes are not created equal - be sure to measure your tote so you order the correct size!

This is a lightweight cover for the 275 gallon tote containers. It fits well and covers up an otherwise, eyesore. The dark black cover should not allow any algea to grow.

My wife and I are using 275g IBC totes for water at our cottage and these covers fit easily over the entire tote and cage assembly and still leave you with easy access to the top fill port and the power outlet port. These block sunlight that causes green algae growth in your tanks, so you can buy this cover and put your fresh water in with a pint of bleach and this cover and know that you have safe water for cooking and cleaning. The cover has straps at the corners that I was able to get through the cage to ensure that even in storms, the cover should stay put. At the cost, these are a great value and I would buy again if they begin to fail in a couple years. I wish that they made a thicker insulated one that could slow down the tendency to freeze, but I may be able to get foam board around the top and sides and still get the covers back on. I will be looking into that later this fall.The front center zipper makes accessing the outlet valve easy, and the top velcro flap over the fill port is super simple to pull open or to close. The black material seems to be heavy enough, and with the silver inner lining it does a great job at stopping all sunlight. I am really happy with these covers.

With Arizona sun, I don't know if this will last through a year but so far, it is good. It fits over really well and zips down. Which is great so you can still get to the spout easily. It protects against the sun getting in and making more algae and such. Keeps things a lot nicer. I like that it is green and looks more natural when you look around and glance at it. Good cover.

I collect rain water from my gutter system. Tried painting my 275 gal. rain tanks but still had a problem with algae growing. Am going to try this product. I have two containers with plans to add two more. If this works I will purchase two more. They are more aesthetic then the bare containers with their rack frames.

Much thinner than expected. I will try it out and see how long it last. A $15 tarp lasts a year if this last 1-2 yrs will be worth the price
