Great for the hard-to-buy-for folks in your life!
I thought this was a great novelty gift. I purchased for my hard-to-buy-for husband who is quite the movie buff. He has already seen about half, but seemed to find a good deal of satisfaction in being able to immediately scratch some off. He is now up for the challenge to see those that still remain. The list of movies is obviously quite subjective. I think it covers a lot of the common "must see" ones, but there also seem to be some more obscure ones on it. I will note that some blocks cover more than 1 movie (like Star Wars - multiple movies go into one scratch-off block). I think this is OK, but it does mean that there are over 100 movies referenced by the poster. The poster material is very heavy-duty cardstock. It is so thick, in fact, that regular Scotch tape did not work for us in holding it up. It definitely does not feel cheap! The movies, starting at the top and going left to right: 1. The Shawshank Redemption 2. The Dark Knight 3. City of God 4. Pulp Fiction 5. Amelie 6.12 Angry Men 7. Blade Runner 8. A Clockwork Orange 9. The Deer hunter 10. Casablanca 11. E.T. 12. UP 13. The Rocky Horror Picture Show 14. The Big Lebowski 15. Office Space 16. Fight Club 17. Snatch 18. Old Boy 19. Leon the Professional 20. Scarface 21. Raiders of the Lost Ark 22. The Lord of the Rings (Trilogy) 23. Moonlight 24. The Matrix 25. Apocalypse Now 26. The Grand Budapest Hotel 27. Monty Python's Life of Brian 28. In Bruges 29. 3 Idiots 30. The Godfather 31. The Notebook 32. The Lion King 33. Stand By Me 34. Dirty Dancing 35. Jurassic Park 36. 2001: A Space Odyssey 37. The Goonies 38. Wall-e 39. Groundhog Day 40. Star Wars: Episodes IV, V, VI 41. Schindler's List 42. Breakfast at Tiffany's 43. Shaun of the Dead 44. Back to the Future 45. Forrest Gump 46. The Silence of the Lambs 47. The Shining 48. Alien 49. Momento 50. Se7en 51. Halloween 52. Jaws 53. The Evil Dead 54. Airplane! 55. Mean Girls 56. Lawrence of Arabia 57. Drive 58. Casino Royale 59. Ghostbusters 60. Rosemary's Baby 61. Mary & Max 62. The Terminator 63. The Green Mile 64. Rocky 65. This is Spinal Tap 66. American Psycho 67. Citizen Kane 68. The Intouchables 69. American History X 70. Seven Samuri 71. Gladiator 72. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 73. Brokeback Mountain 74. The Great Dictator 75. Toy Story 76. The Prestige 77. Titanic 78. Her 79. Boyz in the Hood 80. Four Weddings and a Funeral 81. Little Miss Sunshine 82. Trainspotting 83. Great gift and fun activity.
This poster has to be up there with my favorite purchases ever, because it really opened me up to watching a bunch of classic, critically-acclaimed movies. It is always a good experience to scratch another film off the list to see its own little art piece associated with it. My only gripe with this product is that scratching off each square leaves residue that makes looking at a near-completed poster a little bad. Could either be a problem with scratch offs or the coins I am using. All in all, great gift for anyone (including non-film buffs).

Great gift for anyone who watches any kind of movies
Really nice to give as a gift to anyone who even remotely watches movies. It is a good challenge for film lovers to complete, as some of the movies on here are different from the classic “best movies” lists. Movies are also from all genres, do it promotes something for everyone. 4 stars because it is somewhat heavy to hang and kept falling down with the use of poster putty, and also it had a couple of stray scratches across some of the boxes when I received it.

Great poster idea, but a few annoying quirks.
Poster great gift idea, got it for my movie loving boyfriend. He has watched 70 of the 100 movies, so I told him that there's always something more to watch! Good and diverse movie collection on it. Product arrived with some dings on the (flimsy, toblerone-esq) packaging, after opening the package there were creases in the poster as it is packed in a triangle box. Not too many to distract, or any that rip, but it is there. The scratch off is fun, but tedious. We said we would scratch off in bursts, since there's so many movies. Hard to get everything gray off the movie poster though. Will need extra cleaning up when done. Also the fact that you may want to scratch off as you go, and with the hassle of taking out of a poster frame, I decided to get an open magnetic hanging frame- so keep in mind how you want to display it. All in all though it is a nice poster, good size, great concept, and good prompt on what to watch. I would buy other ones like this in the future.

Good List of Films
Ordered a few to give as gifts for some family that haven't seen a wide variety of movies. All of them came in great condition. There was a piece of paper rolled with the poster in each box to keep them from getting scratched. I couldn't find a list before buying so here's what's on the poster: -- Shawshank Redemption The Dark Knight City of God Pulp Fiction Amelie 12 Angry Men Blade Runner A Clockwork Orange The Deer Hunter Casablanca -- E.T. Up The Rocky Horror Picture Show The Big Lebowski Office Space Fight Club Snatch Old Boy Leon: The Professional Scarface -- Raiders of the Lost Ark The Lord of the Rings (Trilogy) Moonlight The Matrix Apocalypse Now The Grand Budapest Monty Python's Life of Brian In Bruges 3 Idiots The Godfather -- The Notebook The Lion King Stand By Me Dirty Dancing Jurassic Park 2001: A Space Odyssey The Goonies Wall-E Groundhog Day Star Wars Episodes IV, V, VI -- Schindler's List Breakfast At Tiffany's Shaun of the Dead Back to the Future Forrest Gump The Silence of the Lambs The Shining Alien Memento Se7en -- Halloween Jaws The Evil Dead Airplane! Mean Girls Lawrence of Arabia Drive Casino Royale Ghostbusters Rosemary's Baby --- Mary & Max The Terminator The Green Mile Rocky This is Spinal Tap American Psycho Citizen Kane The Intouchables American History X Seven Samurai -- Gladiator The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Brokeback Mountain The Great Dictator Toy Story The Prestige Titanic Her Boyz n the Hood Four Weddings and a Funeral -- Little Miss Sunshine Trainspotting The Departed Saving Private Ryan No Country for Old Men The Pianist Dr. Strangelove Lagaan Baahubali Psycho -- Vertigo The Truman Show Reservoir Dogs Amadeus Enter the Dragon The Wizard of Oz Gangs of New York The Usual Suspects Spirited Away Good Will Hunting

Review of poster
Our poster didnt scratch easily and because it wouldn't come off one of the pictures is ruined but it is fun to close our eyes and randomly choose a movie. It helps when not knowing what to watch. My bf said this was one of his fav gifts from me because we can do what he loves together. (He is a movie buff and I however am not so this was perfect for us)

Great Gift Idea!
I purchased this as a small gift to send to my boyfriend and it is perfect! He is a huge movie buff and has already scratched off some of his favorite classics, and now we are working through what's left on the list. I love the little images behind the "scratch off" because they definitely go with the movie theme, but you never know what they're going to be! We are now working on finding a poster frame that we could take the glass out of so that he can keep scratching while still displaying this poster, but without putting holes in the poster with thumbtacks. Great for any movie lover!!

Very Hard To Scratch!!
If it wasn't for how hard it is to get the silver coating off of the covers I think this product would be amazing. However, because the whole point is to uncover the squares and be able to ultimately hang up the poster it's quite unfortunate what taking off the coating does to the poster and the pictures underneath. For example, I first took off the spirited away cover with a coin and as you can see in the photo it was very much ripped, I was not rough with taking the coating off and tried my best to be careful with everything. In the end I had to use nail polish remover to get the rest of that square uncovered and had to tape it up. It just looks unseemly. I used the nail polish technique to start the next two I uncovered, however you won't get very far just using the nail polish and will eventually have to use a coin or other object. Thankfully, the acetone softens the silver material and makes it easier to scratch it off. It does takes some time to do this so I don't know how I feel about having to take down the poster to update it every time I watch a movie. Even after getting the silver completely off of the WALL-E and toy story ones they still look dull and scratched from the coin. I think I would much prefer something to peel if it means I would be preserving the image beneath the title.
