Purchased before this is a really good value for money kit. Very easy to brew and gets better over time. Great taste.

Superb value for money, beautiful flavour. Ive bought far worse in a pub.

Still had to buy other bits to make this. It was a gift and felt terrible when they had to buy more stuff.

Home brew lager has come on in the last few years and this Coopers lager kit is a good example of how things have improved. I regularly buy this kit.Good points:Easy to make if you follow the instructions;Tastes great;This can be quite strong in alcohol :).Bad Points:Quite messy and takes time to dissolve in water. I use lots of pans of very hot water and pour a bit into each of them to help the dissolving process.The price of these kits can vary quite a bit and get too high if supplies are short, so buy a kit when it's cheap, rather than waiting until you need it.Helpful Hints:1. The Beer enhancer in the kit definitely makes a difference to the taste. Don't try the cheaper option of using a bag of ordinary white sugar.2. Don't leave it to completely ferment in your large fermentation vessel. Save some fermentation for in the bottles to give your drinks enough fizz. A cheap hydrometer helps in knowing how far your fermentation has gone.3. Experience helps. My second and subsequent attempts were better than my first attempt with this kit.I hope this info helps with your buying decision!
