Definitely a cheap option, but I still think it works well. I’ve got a small diameter portafilter so this is perfect. Definitely nicer models out there that are better at distributing grounds, but solid overall.

Here’s the update: after actually using this little fella for a few weeks, I have to say it’s fine. Initially I was annoyed the by short length and thick gauge of the pins but now I feel it’s perhaps a feature and not a bug. I find the whisking of the coffee is more efficient with the firmer pins and the length doesn’t bother me as much as it did initially. This is one of those rare times where I have to admit that I <GASP> made a mist.. mist… mistake <gulp>.The needles are quite thick and short (the photo suggests they’re longer than they are once they’re set in the handle) so I’m finding it a bit clumsy to use. I had a finer one but it got damaged so I decided to try this one. It sort of works but I’m going to get a better one with longer and finer needles. Good price point I suppose but not great usability.

Not sure what went wrong with the one Mario received, because mine is 0,40mm as described. Tool works well!

What I liked with this tool was the springs at the top as shown in photos. With that needles can bend hopefully not to scratch the ground holder.The outer surface is raw and texture gets damaged quickly when becomes wet.Not the best quality material or the product but considering the price it is a good deal.

Use with Barrista Pro and it is okay perhaps a larger diameter if I was to buy another WDT but this does the job and I have never experienced channeling and I guess it's because of this simple thing. Looks nice and is small so easily stores.
