Q: Is the file format from the transfer filmed with a HD camera?

Hi! The file is actually not transferred by filming with an HD camera. It is professionally scanned and encoded by the experts at Pro8mm. The file that you receive, which is included with this kit, is not HD, but you can pay an additional fee to upgrade to an HD file on the Pro8mm website. Either way, the results are excellent.

Q: What are the scan specs of the file that comes back, HD or SD?

i forget... i think last time i bought the film and scan services from Pro8, i did HD, and thought to myself, this kinda looks like the SD scans.. i don't remember the pixel resolution... sorry, couldn't help you more. aloha, john

Q: Is this compatible with the Canon 250 Zoom Super 8?

I have a large Canon Super 8mm movie camera collection and I am not familiar with the model number 250. This is very good film for Super 8mm movie cameras. Most Canon S8mm cameras can read (ASA) this film.
