Silverline Flat Bungee Cord 889mm (785869)

Didn’t fit, tried to return it, Amazon refunded me and told me to keep it so thought I’d better leave a good review. Solid build and strong hooks.

These are basically very good - the wide strapping makes them especially useful for strapping things down tightly without damaging them.But as others have noted, the hooks can come detached from the bungee, which is both problematic and potentially dangerous. It doesn't look too hard to fix them up, but really this should have been made secure by the manufacturer.I'm sure many will use them without this ever happening, but it's not ideal.

These are great bungees. I have bought 3 in the past, which I have used to secure the lid of my wheelie bins when there has been gales. (Although don't use them when the bin men are due to empty the bins....one of mine was ruined when the guys obviously didn't spot it, and the end of it was shedded! 😕).In August 2018 I bought the medium sized one which states 635mm, as I thought it would be perfect for the small wheelie bins however it was too long. Upon measuring it, it actually measures 680mm (68cm). I phoned Silverline to see if they did an alternate size, and they said that the stated length of 635mm was wrong, and that it is approx 665mm (66.5cm). The plastic end slides off, so I am hoping to make it slightly shorter by taking the wee metal hook out and re-inserting it in a different place.

Bought a rollator that doesn't fold up very well. The bungee holds it closed.

Product is good value, as described, and, arrived timeously. All good.I specifically ordered the longer version which fits the bill for my needs.Please note, however, that the "elasticity" / resistance should, ideally, have been stronger to make it a perfect product. With this higher elasticity, I would have given this product 5 stars. Seller please take note.

Guter Gurt für seine Länge. Ist natürlich nur längenabhängig einsetzbar. Deshalb sollte man vorher wissen, wo er eingesetzt wird. Er ist nicht unendlich dehnbar meine ich. Ich setze ihn auch nicht dauerhaft im freien ein, kann also nicht sagen, wie Wettereinwirkungen die Haltbarkeit beeinflussen.Mir reicht der Gurt, aber 120 cm wäre auch eine interessante Länge, wenn es sie gäbe.

Aber leider leiert das Gummiband sehr schnell aus, so dass ich beim Fahrrad immer mehr des Expanderseils um die Sattelstange wickeln muss, aber für den Preis trotzdem sehr OK.

je recommande ce produit qui est de qualité un plus un tendeur plat permet de tenir les choses sans que cela roule. De plus les extrémités sont bien pensées ont ne se pince pas les doigts. A essayer.
