Comedy sequel adapted by Tyler Perry from his own stage play. Perry reprises his role as flowery-aproned, pistol-packing grandmother Madea, who runs into all kinds of problems while planning a reunion for her severely dysfunctional family. The disparate characters Madea is attempting to reconcile include her new charge, rebellious teenage runaway Nikki (Keke Palmer), her niece Lisa (Rochelle Aytes), who is questioning her upcoming marriage to her abusive fiance Carlos (Blair Underwood), and Lisa's half-sister Vanessa (Lisa Arrindell Anderson), who is locked in constant battle with her mother (Lynn Whitfield) while tentatively exploring a new relationship with handsome bus driver Frankie (Boris Kodjoe).

feel good movie
This is by far my favorite Tyler Perry movie. The acting is good, the characters are believable (well, apart from Boris Kodjoe- I mean please- who would turn that down!)and the story-lines are great. I especially enjoy the way the mother-daughter interractions between the main characters play out in the film. I watch this when I need something funny but at the same time deep and uplifting. This movie covers quite a lot and at the center of it is Madea who is funny as hell. After awhile you forget it's Tyler Perry in drag- the character is so good. It takes on a whole life of its own-funny and outrageous, yet real and down to earth somehow- with a lot of wisdom to offer. Some serious themes are touched upon and at the heart of it is a great moral (for everyone). The only problem with this movie is that I want to reach into the television screen and knock Blair Underwood's character out. LOL. Oh, and Lyn Whitfield's too. No, but seriously-Tyler Perry always aims to please and he definately delivers here.

Tyler Perry's a genius
Tyler Perry's movies are insightful and either plays to stereo types or totally switches roles. That Madea is like several of my family members rolled into one person

Spectacular film
Only recently discovered the madea films, love all of them but this performance is undoubtedly made my top 5 films. Life can be unpredictable and unfortunate but how this film has captured and portrayed the daily struggles of a few individuals is spectacular. If only more people where a little more like madea the world would be a much nicer place.

Like all Tyler Perry films
If you are ready for a laugh out loud moment, then you will appreciate the show. Like all Tyler Perry films, there is an underlying message of God, Faith and Family. For those not familiar with the American culture, you might not be familiar with some of the jokes. However, there is always a strong, positive or storyline. Enjoy and laugh your head off.

A Must Watch!
I have watched a number of Tyler Perry films and this is one of the best ones. Madea had me rolling when she cussed off the girl at the drive through at the beginning of the film and again at the funeral near the end.Loving your work Tyler and good for kids and adults of today to see how they should behave as opposed to how some of them do.Anyone who hasn't seen this film, I beg you watch this ASAP too funny to miss.
