Harper Sloan is back! And The Long Way Home is a reminder of how good this series is!
Harper Sloan is back!!!After five years away, she has triumphantly returned and returned in style by giving her loyal readers another story in the fantastic Corps Security Series. But I'm sure I wasn't the only one who wondered how she would do this given its been ten years since the series ended. However, Harper brilliantly works around this by binding the old with the new, and starting The Long Way Home in Boston with Olivia and her niece five-year-old Riley. Who falls for h**d-a** Drew. A mysterious, yet gorgeous older man who one day declares he is going to walk them home to ensure they are safe.Of course, there is more to the story. And the connection between Olivia, Drew and Riley is instantaneous, and the more time the three of them spend together the more Olivia starts to fall. But she also knows Drew has secrets.Secrets that surface when a face from the past turns up on Drew's doorstep and the truth of who Drew really is, is revealed. And to Hope Town. Where the shocking reality of Drew's secret is laid bare.Yet, back in Boston danger lurks. But now Drew has Corps Security and Zac Cooper to help him protect Riley the little girl who helped bring him back to life. And with heart, heat, secrets, emotion, old faces and new. This was the perfect story for Harper Sloan to come back with and I would happily recommend it to all. I would also urge anyone who has yet to read a Harper Sloan story to do it now as you won't be disappointed.

the book you didn’t know you needed
This was the book I didn’t know I needed. Spoilers****Coop was always one of my favourites and every book after in Corps Security I missed yolo! This though, when you had that little snippet of glitter my heart dropped and leapt out of my chest at the same time. There were tears in my eyes, I couldn’t speak and I had to stop reading and take a breath. That bloody glitter got me and I wasn’t within striking distance of Sway. This is series, which now includes the book I didn’t know I needed, is one of my all time favourites and can read it over and over again. Harper Sloan has done the impossible in giving Coop a new life and I am so ready to start the series again. After all, yolt!!

A touching romance to melt your heart
What can I say, except you must read this....!I loved both the FMC & MMCs strength, given all that they had been through. And Riley was a breath of fresh air, lending humour and perfectly lightening the mood.It was a beautifully crafted story, with perfectly blended heat, romance and suspense. I look forward to reading more from this author, as this is the first one of hers that I have read. Unfortunately, the other books in this series aren't available on KU.Highly recommend this book.

Loved it! No longer broken hearted!
What a book!I fell in love with the corps security series and hope town so long ago and have read them so many times! But without trying to give much away this book was not what I expected, and I think I was as suprised as some of the characters in the book were with Drew and liv ! Loved it so much and so great to catch up with the originals 20 years later, especially dear Sway. Just going to cry some happy tears and can feel a broken heart mending after this story! I'm now even more sad that it's over and brought an unexpected beautiful ending to this series... although secretly hoping there's more spin off stories to come 😊

SHUT. UP!!
I avoided all spoilers, all comments, reviews, pictures, everything. And boy I am so glad I did. This book has had me ugly crying, and heartbroken. But then wrapped me up in a pretty little bow at the end. I cannot even fathom all that has happened. It really was the perfect end to the series.
