Read the reviews and went ahead.. I’m quite crafty and handy and with some detailed wrapping and some ribbon this box looked amazing. I agree the adhesive could of been stronger but I used some strong burlap ribbon which helped and the box is now being used as storage by the recipient so it’s fine ..

I needed a beautiful box for a baby shower gift and thought this would be perfect. Putting gifts inside 2 days before the event, I discover that thr magnet does not work and the box will not stay closed. Very disappointed, too late to send it back and at £9, i expected better

Really nice idea instead of a gift wrap/bag. Big enough to hold a miniature bottle of champagne and flute. I ordered 2 boxes. One of the magnetic strips on 1 of the boxes wasn't aligned and the box wouldn't stay closed.

I brought this to hold lots of little wrapped gifts for a birthday present. The box itself is solid, but as you have to assemble yourself with the pre stuck pads it kept coming apart. I ended up using additional super glue to hold it firmly.Also, the magnetic closure isn't as strong as it could be and kept popping open.All in all did the job, but wouldn't buy again

I was looking for a strong gift box for a 50th birthday hamper and bought this as I thought the magnetic part would give it a nice finish. The box itself is very strong and sturdy, but the very reason I bought it was for the magnetic part, which you can feel is an empty slot. If this box was cheaper then it wouldn't be an issue, but for the price I would advise you look around.

The boxes look good, however, the magnetised area on the lid is not sufficient to actually keep the lid closed, so the box just springs up and open

The box is great, does (almost) what it needs to do! I got this to make my fiancé a wedding morning package and now have to find other ways of keeping it closed as the magnet just isn’t sticking.
