BADALink Brooch Pin

I bought this to put on a black dress for my mother-in-laws funeral. It is a lovely looking and unusual brooch (not cheap looking at all) it was commented on by a couple of people. The teardrop covered both tears of sadness but also shared tears of happiness while reminiscing happier times of her life. I would recommend this price of jewellery.

Love the look of this brooch and bought it to use on a pashmina shawl. Not convinced I will be using it on pashmina as, upon receipt, tried putting pin through on old thin fleece. A) it caught on material as the pin is not particularly smooth at the top and immediately below. B) pin bent on trying to get it through thin fleece due to catching on material... 😮Ok it's not an expensive item but I did expect a bit more from it. 😤Thankfully the pin was able to be bent back into approximate shape and is useable. Also, have just used a nail file to smooth the top of pin and definitely better.Can now use it on my pashmina shawl! 😀Arrived in small plastic bag so, if buying for a present, you may wish to present it in some other way.

I like everything about this brooch,I bought it to wear at my mums funeral and ended up buying 3 because when I showed two other family members it they wanted to wear one as well,it definitely looks a lot more expensive than it was and I wouldn’t have minded paying a little extra for it to have come in a little box rather than a little plastic bag,which by the way was the only thing to let it down.

I bought this brooch for myself to pin up the front part of my black velvet hat, but it would be a lovely gift for anyone. I love the teardrop feature, which does not need only to be recognized as a tear of sadness, but a tear of joy, perhaps? It is both sturdy and attractive and the very long eyelash feature and blue centered eye captures a a beautiful, literally eye-catching piece of jewellery. Very good value for money, I was surprised!

I was pleasently surprised at how vivid the colour of the blue stones in both the eye & the tear. It was slightly larger than expected. I was overall pleased with the brooch
