bg electrical Ceiling Rose - Brush Chrome

The actual product itself I cannot fault but I originally ordered 2 brushed chrome, as this listing says they are, only to be sent one brushed chrome and one stainless steel one. I will be returning those but as this is the only product I have seen that I wanted to buy, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered 2 more. The 2 that have then arrived are not brushed chrome but instead 2 stainless steel. I have chosen to use these instead as they are very nice but not exactly what I wanted or what I ordered.

Great quiality ceiling rose, Im not a fan of chrome so I spray painted it copper, sanded it back and used a selection of liberon metallic paints to acheive the desired finish and to match my light shade and it worked worked a treat.Ive recently bought a few ceiling roses from Dowsing & Reynolds and Urban Cottages their ceiling roses were very dissapointing and this British General ceiling rose at half the price of the above mentioned companies blew them out of the water. It is a very good product at an excellent price.

Replaced a white plastic one with this to smarten up a room. Had to completely remove the old one and rewire this one in. The only problem was that the metal outer is glued to a plastic inner which is screw threaded to the other plastic terminal block but which is screwed into the ceiling. The metal outer detached very easily from the plastic, so we had to re-glue it back to the plastic so it would not fall off. Otherwise it's OK.

Fit really well and look great.

Look real nice, not fitted yet but can't see any problems thus far.. Could not get these anywhere else.. British general too.. Can't wait for the install that added touch to go with my switches and sockets..

Easily fitted just like a standard ceiling rose, makes a much nicer look than the standard white colour rose.
