Bright and very sturdy!
I have been reading about bright flashlights for a while and this brand was recommended. It’s amazing how some things that you buy made in China are so well-made, and this is one of these times. When you hold it in your hand it’s like you have a machine, not a toy. The rechargeable battery took about two hours to get fully charged, the buttons are easy to use and click solidly. Darn thing is brighter than any I’ve had before, especially for its size. It does get warm if on high after ~5 minutes but not dangerously so. I am suitably impressed with this flashlight.

Plenty of brightness and intuitive basic controls.
I have a couple of other Acebeam flashlights (smaller ones) and haven't been disappointed by their performance, so I was excited to try out the P18.First impressions were good- the light comes nicely packaged and construction itself is great- the flashlight seems plenty rugged. With 5000 lumens of brightness on the turbo mode, there is plenty of power with decent throw. The included photo shows turbo mode at a distance of about 80 feet.I like that there are two tailcap buttons- one for on/off and one for brightness levels. While the included instructions list a number of other programmable options, they were honestly a bit confusing, so I've stuck to the standard Low-Med-Hi-Turbo setting.I also like the the charging port is protected by a threaded and gasketed cover to keep debris out. It uses a standard USB-C cable, which is nice for compatibility with other chargers.Heat dissipation is good, especially given the output. I noticed that this flashlight stays a lot cooler than some of my smaller high lumen lights. The pocket clip in my opinion isn't super functional, as it is lens down and requires you to stuff the whole head into your pocket. A lens up clip or a belt pouch would have been a better fit for me- I don't see myself using the clip as designed.Another improvement that would have helped make this a five star light would be a visual battery indicator. Many competing lights in this range will include a series of LEDs to monitor battery status and I think that would definitely be a nice upgrade for this light

This flashlight is a monster
This flashlight is a beast... it's compact, however it is beyond bright... it's incredibly powerful, to the point that it blew my mind how bright that little thing could get. The flashlight actually gets very hot at the glass because of how intense it is. I took it out camping and I had a very long view down the river and tested it that evening and I could easily see incredible detail probably 300 yards away. This flashlight is like the bat signal it's so powerful. It's also really really solid/sturdy. This could probably be used as a weapon it's so tough... I love this flashlight. The only thing I struggled with was that when I had it on the brightest setting, it would turn itself down. I didn't mess with it too long, so it could have been something simple I was missing, but I did notice it had that occur without me doing anything. I am satisfied with it regardless of that issue because even on the lowest setting this thing is a spotlight.

Very Bright
I love this flashlight. built to last and is very bright and a long lasting battery . USB C type charge port is hidden well and sealed just unscrew the port entry. Very light weight and compact. 4 brightness modes and does get hot a bit when turned up all the way. I was able to light up an entire street 100 yards easy. This flashlight was designed very good. Built with sturdy aluminum body the buttons are good construction. Definitely a high lumen flashlight. Doesn't have a focus feature but you won't need it. This flashlight fits in your pocket and is easy to put into a backpack or clip to one.

Extremely bright and outstanding build
Super bright! Super durable! Solid construction! Good neft.I've dropped it a few times and no problem at all. I use it for walking and it is fantastic I can warn cars far about about my presence. It makes me feel safer. In a smaller package that can clip on anywhere, or slip into your pocket! I even attached mine to a bicycle. And it was great!

Strong Beam, Simple Controls
The media could not be loaded. Now when I say the controls are simple I should mention that I don't use all the light settings on this flashlight. I just use the simple bright-brighter-brightest etc. via the tail-click along with the firefly light to save battery. There is a lot more this flashlight can do via the settings.Easy to charge via the screw-down port. Check out my video for a full tour of this MEGA bright flashlight with a quad-LED head.

Great flashlight. I like that the USB C charging port is under a threaded aluminum ring
Feels solid, is bright, uses a non-proprietary battery (21700), and has good run time on a charge. The main tail switch is a bit harder to engage than my Fenix lights and it didn't come with a lanyard; however, those are minor issues.
