Nautica Navigator and Skipper Underwater Seascooters, Designed for Younger Recreational Divers and Snorkelers

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My son absolutely loves this. He has had hours of fun playing in the pool with this. Great purchase.

I bought this as a surprise for my grandkids to take on our family beach vacation. They loved it! We only used it in the pool, but it should be fine in the ocean too. It floats well in fresh water, so will float even better in salt water. 5 of my 6 grandkids all rode it, including a grandson not quite 3 years old. His arms were not quite long enough, but he figured out how to sort of crawl up on top of it and away he went! When we got home we had it at the neighborhood pool and a whole bunch of kids wanted to try it. After about 30-40 minutes of non stop use, it did start to cut out a bit. I am 99.9% sure this was due to the battery overheating a bit from too much continuous use, because after a 10-15 minute test, it was fine.

I bought this product for my great granddaughters to use in the pool. They are good swimmers. I also bought another similar product Asiwo. The Asiwo is far better. It is faster, buoyant and easy to maneuver. The Skipper is heavier, not buoyant, not as fast and not as maneuverable. If you are using it in a pond or the ocean and it is dropped then say good by to it. If you tether to a child they are going to struggle to stay afloat when not under power by the skipper. Shame on me for not reading that it can't be returned It's July 26th and I'm adding to my review. I need to make a correction. This machine does float. Having made that correction doesn't make it any better. I bought 2 of another product. I have 5 grandchildren that use these scooters in my pool. No one wants to use the Nautica. While 2 of the kids are zipping around the pool on the other product the kid using the nautical is like having an anchor attached to it.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet because I'm waiting for the waters to warm up just a bit but I'm happy I bought it and can't wait to use it this summer 🏝️. Make sure you read and understand everything about it before you use it.

I bought this for my grandson for his birthday. He absolutely loves it and said it’s the most fun he’s had with a product in the pool. He comes home from school and goes straight out to the pool to use it. He said he has wanted a sea scooter for years.

Bought in October 2024 for my granddaughters Christmas gift. Didn’t use until this summer at the lake. We used it two days. The 3rd day a family friend’s child used it who has lots of experience on another style of sea scooter. She let go of it and it never resurfaced. Shouldn’t it float? Very disappointed.

My grandsons love this sea scooter and it works great, just follow the instructions on taking the battery out when not using it and charge it. Thats important not to leave the battery in it when not using.

Not very fast (not for an adult) but so much fun for the kids. We use it in the pool.
