This definitely worked on our dog. I came back to find the link for a friend and was surprised to see so many negative reviews. So I thought I’d leave mine. Basically my dog doesn’t like the buzzer at all. Well it’s not really a buzzer, it just vibrates and I can’t hear it but my dog definitely doesn’t like it.I’ve only had to press it a couple of times. I mostly use the beeper and that signals to her I might press the buzzer. I do praise her when she stops barking though and tell her good girl. She seems to have learned. Now I only need to pretend I’m going to pick it up and she stops. So I would say it’s worth trying. I’m not sure why certain dogs would be immune to it. Definitely use it as part of a training though and remember to praise dog as well.

I think I set my expectations too high for this item. I have a french bulldog that is so quiet during the day, however once it turns 6 pm she turns into a loony, barking constantly and being a general pain. Bought this thinking it would be my miracle. Unfortunately not. All I got from the Ultrasonic button was a numb hand as when pressed just had a vibration did not deter my dog at all no matter what frequency I chose. This is now a usless bit of plastic.

I feel bad to use it, but this gadget really does stop my dog from barking in the yard. I bought it after an uptight neighbour complained, and so far one touch of the ultrasonic button is enough so that the dog cowers and scrams back indoors with her tail down, looking up at me with her big brown eyes like she is saying 'et tu brute?' We have been testing it for a couple of weeks in combination with positive reinforcement training. Tbh I was kind of hoping the NPS would not be as effective so I could return it, but for now it seems to be working well. What remains to be seen is whether the dog will be trained out of barking altogther as I hope, or maybe she will get used to it and eventually just ignore being zapped. I only wish Amazon sold a device that would shut up the wingeing neighbour as effectively.

what dont I like - that it takes 5 hrs to charge initally.what do I like - it works for us.We have two 4yr old malumutes who are brother and sister and as such have become pack animals - when one start barking the other joins in and they encourage each other to keep going, this is when they see couples, other dogs, people walking past the house, deliveries. It was getting to the pouint of being unbearable. Totally though this was a gimic but at thepint we were at I would rather try it than training collars. This has loads of features - torch, bleeper and ultrasonic, strap and a switch to either lock or change variations of ultrasonic. short guide to use, but no suggestions for training - we started using the beeper long with the ultrasonic - only needed to use together once and the dogs associate the bleep with the ultrasonic. Had less than one week and another dog walker we see regualarly asked if we had been having training sessions as the dogs were noticable better behaved (her dog is so well trained and off the lead) and she could se that they were super happy (have previosuly tried the comporessed air can and my dogs hated it, so scared). I current one broke I would get another in a second!UPDATE: never have I updated a review, but this needs to be shared. two weeks into using I have only used the ultrasoninc twice, predominantly using the beep. I have not used the device for the last week.. why? because I havent needed to. Both my dogs happily jump into the car (one always waited to be lifted - a 25kg dog), the dogs do not tug on their leads overtly, they don't bark at other dogs now, and they return when called and both sit (one never used to)! have had compliments on how they seem like different dogs, asking what training I had been to - they were amazed by the results. And I got an apology from another dog owner due to their dog being unruly :)UPDATE2: dec - still on first charge, now using every evening after 5pm to see where im going. what do i not like about this device after months of use... that the chord attachment was the other end as the torch shines up when off of my wrist (a simple mod to one of the ultrasonic end to attach the wrist chord and this device is perfect). Too many compliments on dogs behaviour to recall. still reading? - get it!

I work in the community and since I received this I have taken it with me in around 500 doors trying it out with at least 50 dogs. It has not worked on any of them. I am disappointed as the reviews were positive. I have requested to return and receive a refund so I can try a different one. I will update my review once I do.

Great product stops my dog barking at the front door every time someone walk past me. Also she stops growling at are other dog when I use it

Bought it after reading the reviews as we have a reactive dog when outside so wanted to use this to help with training.Our dog had no reaction to it at all so was sent back.
