Great tea with no rogue tea leaves - A very nice thing to own.
I looked up the patent for David Birch's filter design - it is such a simple concept that it took about 250 years of English tea making to be invented! The filter is designed to clip onto the teapot: it does not actually do that, but it does not matter (actually this avoids a probable nuisance). The handle for the filter can be rotated to prevent the teapot lid closing when Filling. There are no drips from the spout, but a little patience and care is necessary when pouring water through the filter with tea leaves in it. The holes in the filter are very small and the newly made tea takes some time to seap through into the pot. Also, it is is not always obvious when the pot is nearly full: I sometimes temporarily remove the filter to check the level. However, it is well worth this modest effort: no leaves escape into the pot yet the taste is superb with less than two teaspoonfuls for a full pot. With a little experience you can choose from mild and subtle to really strong - something quite impossible with the ubiquitous tea bag!I use a fairly large, 200mm cup and get rather more than two good cupfuls from the full pot. If you are a builder who likes steaming mugs full that's great (I sometimes like that too) but this little teapot is really intended for a more relaxed 'tea time' with the essential cucumber and watercress sandwiches. I just wish watercress was easier to find at Tesco's.I think a little care will be needed or else the 'bar' that secures the lid could break, so I don't leave the teapot upside down with the lid open to drain. Overall though, this is a truly stylish teapot and is one of those things that soon become very pleasing to own.

Nice product spoiled by repeated defects
We chose this teapot as a gift because it looked stylish & well made, it is a nice little pot & so It's a shame then that it arrived with marks on the side, two parallel scuff lines on the most obvious part of the body. Not transit damage, from the manufacturer & looked like poor handling. Imagine our disappointment when its replacement, dispatched within minutes of raising the concern, has an even more obvious defect, not damage but from the manufacturing process. We now have to try & find a birthday gift with only a few days to go but it's unlikely to be another tea pot from London Pottery.

I really like the design and the colour of this teapot
I really like the design and the colour of this teapot. Unfortunately, my only grumble is that the filter insert is very small . It's fine if you are using a small amount of leaf tea. However our main use is for tea-bags. My husband like using the filter pots as he drinks both and he doesn't like leaving tea bags in the tea-pot as it over stews. Having a filter pot is ideal - we have used them for years, as it means you can still put tea bags in the filter and then once brewed easily taken them out. The only thing with this teapot is the size of the filter. I put it in the dishwasher although I wash the lid by hand which is easy to take off and put back on again. I'll have to get a bigger tea cosy though because my current one is too small because the bowl of the tea pot is deceptively wide. I do love it although my husband is frustrated with it because of the size of the filter when making tea with tea bags because they don't brew well resulting in weak tea. I bought the matching tea cups for this which are a fabulous size and lovely and round. I know this pot comes in lots of different colours and finishes.

Lovely Teapot
I love the organic ‘Pebble’ shape. Tea is one of my comforts and I needed a new filter teapot for loose tea. It pours really smoothly and it’s put a smile on my face. The seller creative baker were truly lovely to deal with too as there was an issue with the post (no fault of their’s)

It’s okay
This is smaller than I realized by reading the description. The lid likes to pop off. But it does it’s job and that is why I purchased it.

I am fan of the London Pottery line but was disappointed with the size of the Pebble Teapot...although it was described as a 2 cup pot I was hard pressed to get more than 1 cup from the pot....?

Teiera ben studiata in ogni dettaglio
Ceramica molto robusta e spessa, il The rimane quindi ben caldo. Praticissimo filtro estraibile inox talmente fitto che trattiene anche i The più fini o sbriciolati. Versando il The non sgocciola. Unico neo forse è che è pesante, ma ciò è dovuto all’alta qualità della teiera
