The Wandering Traveler Tarot Deck (Travel Size)

I can't remember how I discovered this deck but I am so glad I did. I love everything about it. The colors are beautiful, the size is perfect, I love the typeface. I love the whole concept of a deck made especially to carry when you are off traveling or adventuring. And I love the mixed media approach of photos with art work. The downloadable booklet explains where each photo comes from any why, as well as card meanings and basic Tarot info. In some images I am not entirely sure what a certain shape might be, but that just makes it more dreamlike. A deck that causes you to stop and ponder deeply. I'll be carrying it with me!

I keep this deck in my bag. It's a great travel deck because it features the creator's personal travel photos. I love the subtle playing card overlay and the colors give me life! Some of the images are hard to see but the colors are so pretty I don't even care! It just makes it more intuitive and that's fine with me. I'm from Louisiana and there are several cards with photos from New Orleans, so it's cool that there are places that are familiar to me.

I absolutely love the images on this deck and I really enjoy the compact size of these cards. I have other compact/pocket decks that I find a bit too small. But these are a great size for me. They are totally unique. The readings I do with them are very clear to me. I guess I feel aligned with this little deck.

Great gift for travelers!

I love the size of this tarot deck, it’s bigger than US games pocket edition (which I love) but it’s still a very pocketable deck. The size is my favorite part, I like bigger pocket decks and I’m it a fan of very small “mini decks”.This is an Indie produced deck, so the price is higher than it would have been for a deck of this quality as a mass market. I say this bc the cardstock isn’t high Indie quality, I worry the edges might start to chip. Kind of like Llewelyn cardstock, but feels a little better.The images are altered from photos. I just really love this size of deck, it’s bigger than most pocket decks, as most pocket decks available now are tiny, but it’s not too big, I can see the images clearly and it’s just cute.The price for the size of the deck and the quality of cards, and the cheap tuck box, reflects that it’s produced independently, but I think it’s fair for that reason. I’m glad I bought it.Not for beginners, you’ll want to know what the cards mean first, or have a book that gives more in-depth meanings (like The Ultimate Guide to the Tarot book, or use Biddy.com or Seventh Sphere’s book or website for meanings), same goes for the imagery. Some cards have clearer imagery, where others, it would be harder to guess what the card is if it wasn’t labeled on the card. This doesn’t bother me, it’s a cute deck, with clear font on the cards.

I actually love this deck, and think the quality is great. The deck arrived without shrink wrap in a ripped, damaged box, and all of the cards out of order. This ships from Amazon, so us an Amazon issue. It’s now out of stock, so I wouldn’t be able to exchange it, so I guess I’ll keep it, but I’m very disappointed in Amazon.UPDATE item was restocked, I was able to exchange, and the seller was very responsive and helpful
