Love lifepro red light therapy products! This is my third! Amazing for inflammation, pain and workout recovery! Love lifepro and love this red light therapy device for your knees(or arms or ankles or neck!). It's so easy to use and feels great during and after, just slightly warm during the session and within a few hours you feel a difference in pain(though you don't notice till later when you think oh hey that pain is gone/not bad today!). I don't have knee issues right now but it was nice to try it on them anyway, but I actually liked it for my ankles and arms too, especially after a weights workout. I love feeling like I'm feeling with inflammation, pain, and recovery with this simple, non-medication device. And it's fully adjustable so would work for anyone! I also love my alevared belt by lifepro and allevasole foot red light therapy device and I use it at the same time as this one(on my back/upper back/neck). Also once or twice a week I use lifepro's Rejuvawrap Sauna blanket to detox and love that one too(my first lifepro product)!! Thank you lifepro, you did it again!

What isn’t this good for? I purchased to help with jumpers knee from playing volleyball. At fifty and 5’6 I’ve always had to jump higher than everyone else not that I get higher. At fifty my knees are constantly sore and I generally can’t ride in a car for more than 15 minutes without excruciating pain. I was traveling for thanksgiving and stumbled on red light therapy. I bought one for each knee and set out for a five hour drive after playing vball two days prior. I had them on and started the thirty minute treatment as I was already starting to feel the discomfort. I had these on for the first two hours consistent and I had discomfort but not real pain. For the rest of the day I used them as I felt discomfort. The following day returning home I didn’t need to use but one or two times after the two hour mark. My knees were feeling ok and no pain relievers either. By Sunday and Monday I felt the strength in my knees returning. Friday I played and finished without feeling pain. I had some discomfort but after a thirty minute session the discomfort was gone. I’ll keep using them for an extended time as ive had jumpers knee recurring off and on for 12-14 years.

This device instantly makes my arthritic knee feel better after using it. I put it on 30 minutes and low heat with the red and pulsed light. Afterward I’m able to walk around much better. However, it’s temporary and I’m not seeing long-term benefit from use .I’ve had it for a few months. But overall, I’m still very happy with it.

I re-injured my medical meniscus a month ago. I can usually get back on my feet if I stay off it as much as possible, use knee compression sleeves, ice, a cane and/or off-loading knee brace for a couple of weeks. A month after this latest injury I was only seeing marginal and short lived improvement. I was still experiencing significant amounts of pain, could only stand for short periods, extreme effort to use the stairs, walking would send my leg, hip and back into spasms. I received this device two days ago. I cranked all the settings up to their highest levels and used it 3x daily instead of the recommended 2x daily. Today, my discomfort down to a mild twinge with certain movements, but is hardly noticeable, I have done a considerable amount of walking without a cane or limp. No muscle spasms. No urgent need to get off my feet. Was able to go up and down stairs painlessly and use my elliptical machine. Life is much improved. I'm still restricting my activity and will continue using the device until I'm certain my knee is stabilized, but the progress thus far feels like a miracle. Pros: Works really well Easy to apply Comfortable to wear Cons You have to register the product to receive the carrying case and battery mount.

Edit: it stopped working two days after I wrote this review. I'd been using it 1-2 times per day since I got it. I've been using this red light sleeve on both of my knees since December. I injured my left knee in August and my right in October, and I was trying anything I could to help them heal. I noticed that heat seemed to help my knees more than ice and that was what led to me try this. I had read that this sleeve warms up (and it does quite a bit, you can mildly burn yourself FYI) and that plus I read a few teeny tiny red light studies that seemed promising. About the time I started using this in December I started to improve more rapidly. I'm not sure if I would have improved all the same, but the sleeve does provide soothing heat so if I'm sore the sleeve soothes the aches. I was using it on level 2 or 3 for 10-15 minutes per day on both knees. Now that I'm like 90-95% back to where I was, I'm using it a few times a week or if I'm especially sore. I have also been following all my doctors' orders, doing my PT exercises religiously, slowly increasing activity level, gotten acupuncture, and taken recommended supplements. So it could be coincidence, could be the heat, could be that I was going to heal on my own based on usual knee injury healing times. IDK, but I do like the red light sleeve and I'm still using it because it feels good.

Disappointed that this is not wireless like the hand device, it has to be plugged into outlet and not Chargeable.
