It's not heavy, but it has more weight than I thought it was going to have. A way of thinking about this is it has enough weight to not feel cheap while having enough weight to drape properly.The clip is a single stage spring clip. The loops are soldiered onto the braid with one of these loops having a weak spot to give if roughly caught. Don't think of this as a weakness in the clasp system; it is likely there to keep from getting injured if it gets caught on something. It would take some effort to open that loop.The style of the medallion is like an antique coin, along the style of old Roman Empire coins.In the press of the coin it looks like the cross side is pressed in a bit in the area where the other side lion's head is at its largest. One side's press shouldn't affect the other side so this is a start down. It is only noticeable on the cross side, but still pretty noticeable.This would be casual suitable for men, but I think the more likely audience for this pendant necklace would be teenage boys.

I bought this product directly after an amazing revival at my church. The message sent me on a direct journey to find something like this product. It got to my house in about a week give or take a couple days. In the beginning, I wore this every day. After 3 weeks I started to notice the bronze/gold finish, was wearing off. Just a couple of spots on the part that was closest to my chest. I do still wear it, just not for long periods any more.

LOVE THIS!!! Jeremiah is one of my favorite prophets of God I love to read of the Lord's Heart and Love and Mercy in God's Word in Jeremiah and Lamentations so this is perfect! Way more beautiful and clear in person than the photos! Lions are my favorite since our Savior Jesus is the Lion of Judah "Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered, for He is able to open the scroll and it's seven seals... worthy are You JESUS to open the scroll and it's seven seals, for You were slain and by Your Blood You ransomed people to God from every tribe and language and people and nation and made us a kingdom of priests and servants to You God and we will reign with You on the earth" -Revelation 5 when Jesus takes the deed to the earth the title back that we handed over to evil and darkness when mankind sinned- but Jesus was victorious over the death we brought by rising from death after giving His Life for our sins so He can take back the title deed to the earth (the scroll) and open it and all who repent of sins and trust in Jesus as God and Savior are victorious in Him and forgiven and have eternal life in heaven! that's what Jeremiah looked forward to also! Love that this necklace reminds me of that!!! The chain is very soft and flexible and the shine is not too much and it's also very special for a Narnia fan as it looks noble enough to be Aslan. Trust in the LORD JESUS always!!!

This fades to a brass color very quickly and leaves green on my neck when it got wet

It arrived with the chain broken, inside of a cellophane bag. How this could leave the manufacturer that way is beyond me--it could not have happened in transit.But if I had seen this medallion before buying it, I would not have ordered it. Note in the closeup photo how the edge casting is thoroughly bodged up. I could improve it a little bit, were I to file it down. But that should hardly be necessary.I love cats and I read the Bible frequently, so I was really looking forwards to receiving this. But I might have done better patronizing a gum machine, save for the fact that they don't usually dispense religious paraphernalia (at least in North America).Not to be unkind, but I do want to point out that people tend to appreciate religious medallions more when they are nicely presented.
