I bought several of these a few years ago and they were a lot less expensive and I wish I had bought more. This really is a wonderful garden hose. It hardly kinks at all and so far has stood up really well to being out in the weather full time. The colors are still pretty nice, a little fading but not bad at all. If you have to drag hoses as much as I do you need to like your garden hose.I am happy with the hose and I would buy more.I’ve had these hoses for years now. They’ve held up really well. The colors have faded a bit more as previously stated but that’s to be expected. They definitely are not kink free though they do kink less than cheap hoses. They are substantially well made and heavier to drag around.

I love 'em cause they are PURPLE. If I see a purple hose on the job site, I'm almost 100% sure it's mine. Sorta spendy, but worth it to me for identifying purposes. I bet I'll still have these purple hoses when all my green and gray ones are long gone.The above comment was from a couple of years ago. I just ordered four more of these hoses. Originally, my sole purpose for buying them was for the purple identifying color, but these are damn fine hoses. They don't kink much and when they do kink, they un-kink easily. They are thick but not too heavy.. Other than some spendy Swan hoses I bought 20 years ago, these are the best hoses I've come across in many years. (I've probably purchased 40 hoses in the past 10 years.) I highly recommend this hose regardless of the color.

I like this Dramm hose, it is berry nice. I bought it because I wanted a quality hose that would stay flexible and not kink.It kinks.And I bought berry because my wife loves purple.Well apparently purple doesn’t go with our blue house.So about the kinking: yeah, it can kink, but - unlike plastic/vinyl/pvc i.e. non-rubber hoses - it doesn’t stay kinked or keep kinking in the same spot. If you visit their Dramm website they’ve got a Dramm hose video that shows how easily the Dramm hose kiinks when you don’t unroll it properly. Fair enough. Take a little care unrolling the Dramm hose and there won’t be any problems. Oh, and it doesn’t kink once there’s some water pressure in the hose.As for the color... Where can I get a good deal on exterior house paint?So why didn’t I give it 5 stars? Well I might have if it watered the trees and washed my car for me. Oh was that a serious question? Ok... it appears to be very well made with quality materials. On the flip side it’s a little on the heavy side. You know, like you’d expect from a quality product. Wow, I really should have given this five stars....

Years in: still going strong, still damn pretty.

Connected nicely to the faucet, but then when I turned it on the pivot connector on the faucet end leaked profusely. I don’t mind some drips with hose connectors. It happens. But this is a huge stream of water. It’s flat-out unusable. I’m incredibly disappointed.UPDATE: I re-seated the gasket, then reconnected the hose to the faucet and tightened it as hard as I possibly could. This solved the leaking problem. If you’re having trouble, you may want to try that with the hose.It is clearly durable, but it’s pretty heavy to maneuver around the garden. I prefer the durability, but for some folks this hose may not be a good fit.

This is a very well made hose. Yes, it is expensive in the scheme of garden hoses. BUT! It laid out in my yard ALL SUMMER in direct sun, 90+ heat and the color hasn’t faded a single shade. It also has no cracks, kinks or any areas of damage. It is pretty easy to roll up, and generally doesn’t get kinks. It feels super well made, and I have had zero leaks. I feel like the hose quality will pay for itself over time in durability. Wouldn’t feel great about spending another $100 on a hose, but after buying this one I’ll do it again as long as it’s this hose

This hose is good quality. I live in northern New England. I've had horses for 50 years & I don'tlike automatic waterers. So I know a good hose. This one is thick,you can use hot water in it,( my horses drink warm water all winter), and it really has to be put in a stressed position to kink. It doesn'twant to kink and so it rarely happens. (I was confused by other reviews. Afew said it never kinks. A few said it does. I think someone not using iton a daily basis might take ages to see a kink.) I rewater 3/4 times a day. So I'mone with my hose a lot. I've only been using this hose 3 weeks. Can'tcomment on lastability yet. But so far it's way better than the green ones soldat the big box stores and nearly all the other hoses I've bought. And the price isn't that much different. I can't imagine anyone would be disappointedwith it. Nice to have something new in color for a hose.UPDATE: This hose is still working well after a couple or 3 months. I use hot water daily,several times. It has kinked in one spot only. I think the hot water making it softer may be the cause.

I wanted THIS hose….in purple. No store locally had it, but Amazon did!!! It arrived quickly, and I was so happy to get it! I got one last year, and these are heavy duty rugged hoses.

I dont dislike anything about this hose. Great quality and the colour is a bonus. Have received many compliments

Flexible and strong

This hose is definitely 100% rubber. And the price is really good for the quality of the hose. I bought 2 in Berry color. It is good and heavy so it rarely kinks, only kinks when twisted and not used properly, but very easy to get kinks out. You won't be disappointed if you buy this hose. Does not compare to the expensive garbage hoses I have bought before.

Love the color and the ends look like they are well made . Keep in mind on instructions there's a warning containing lead in the ends . But not a deal breaker for me I like it so much I got another one . Wish you could get in 100 foot as I have a huge lot .

Very sturdy hose with strong metal hose ends. The colour is very vibrant and stands out against the green grass in the garden.
