Having been an avid bird watcher all my life, I was very interested in learning about the new technology in bird feeders which not only allows owners to watch birds feed via their smart phones but allows them to have them identified by Artificial Intelligence. After a lot of research I decided to purchase the Sainlogic Free AI Smart Birdfeeder.Upon delivery I was immediately impressed with the colorful box with a lot of features shown on the attractive packaging.Assembly of the unit was completed in about 10 minutes with no problems at all. The unit comes with a very large refillable feed unit which surrounds the feeding area and allows less frequent filling with seed, which is a real benefit to users especially if they have placed the feeder in an inconvenient or not easily accessible location. Less fillings equals less work!One of the biggest challenges is to find a suitable place to attach the unit! The mounting plate is included but a lot of thought has to be given to where to put the unit considering accessibility and the sun being available to charge the solar panel and avoid changing batteries that communicate to the home WiFi often. The device can also serve as a fantastic security camera if placed in an area where a view of the background is desired.Speaking of the WiFi, many complaints on the comments section focus on the fact that this unit will not connect to their WiFi, people are especially critical of it not connecting to their 5g home network. If the users would read the instructions on both the Amazon website as well as the included instructions in the unit, it CLEARLY states that this unit can’t connect to anything but the 2.4 Ghz portion of your home WiFi. This is very common with many smaller home devices such as doorbells, smart plugs, thermostats and home security cameras. The problem is easily solved in most cases by reconnecting your phones WiFi to the 2.4 Ghz WiFi network, activating the new device on the 2.4 network and then reconnecting your phone to the 5G WiFi. This is not a device problem but a problem with reading the description and following instructions.I have temporarily connected my device and it connects to the WiFi perfectly and gives a clear view of the backyard also. The only visitors I have had so far are the squirrels, their motion is picked up with no problem at all. Once the birds discover the feeder, I will post updates and videos of the action!I am very excited about my new bird feeder and its performance for me! It is sleek looking, performs well, and is a great choice for bird lovers to watch their feathered friends at a close range hi definition view!

I purchased the Sainlogic video camera bird feeder as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, and it has been an absolute delight. This innovative device has brought a whole new level of joy to our backyard bird watching experience.The video quality is exceptional, providing crystal-clear footage of our feathered friends as they visit the feeder. I love being able to witness their unique behaviors up close, from colorful plumage to charming antics. The camera takes stills and you can watch the camera feed in real time as well. I bought a memory card separately to record video footage. There is an optional cloud storage system accessible through the app also.Setting up the bird feeder was a breeze and honestly pretty self explanatory. The housing construction seems very sturdy and the mounting bracket is very strong and rigid. As you can see in the attached photo I have mounted it to the side of my shed.The night vision capability is an impressive touch. I haven't had any activity, but I have watched the live stream and it is still very clear in the dark.Inserting and removing the camera if a charge is needed is very accessible. Similarly, filling the bird feeder is equally simple. The roof tilts forward on a hinge for easy access by humans, but virtually impenetrable to critters.I spent several nights before the holidays researching probably 5-10 different options, but I am happy with this choice. It was affordable, sturdy and thoughtfully engineered.10/10 would buy again for another bird lover

This bird house has a good definition camera, so seeing the details of the birds is really cool. We've had it about a week and the solar panel is keeping the camera charged. There are some features that we haven't tried out yet. The only tricky part was setting up the camera. It has to be reset first in order to get it to configure with the local wifi. It takes some patience - and a tech savvy family member - to get it set. But we haven't had any problems since. Overall, a good value and fun to use.
