The Prairie Doctor's Bride

This was such a fun, sweet read. I really enjoyed it. The story was well developed and had the right amount of moments of adventure to keep an excellent pace. The plot was well developed and had a good amount of surprises. All in all a great book!

This was a wonderful read. Nelson is looking for the bride for not just him but his business too. He needs a caring helpful and loving nurse to help him with his doctoring practice. He plans to find one from the brides that came in by train. Then he gets kidnapped by Sylvia and things slowly change. Sylvia just needs help for her seven year old son Tommy. She doesn’t want anything else. She doesn’t want to be in town with hateful town folks unless she has to. But as things progress with the doc things slowly start changing. Things aren’t the same as seven years ago for her. There is so many new people in town. Nice people.

The author wrote a very charming story. This was a sweet love story with a stubborn bride and a charming husband. Loved the animals too!

The doctor feels he needs a wife to help him in his practice so he looks over 5 sent for brides. In the end he ends up with someone else. Nice love story.

Five stars, learning lessons on upper class and their secrets and lower class with theirs.. Sylvia poor farmer with an illegitimate son, meets upper class doctor.. Good connection.. But gossip regarding Sylvia almost loses the best man she ever had.. Love, forgiveness, and drama.. But lessons learned leading to a good ending.

I loved this story. The h is very stubborn and fearless. She is single with a young son. There is a new doctor in town who wants a wife who can cook and be a nurse in his office. Five women come to town looking for a husband. Will the doctor marry one of them or will he meet the single mom and decide she is what he needs?

I loved seeing Sylvia discover her worth and how she treated all those around her with care. i enjoyed watching doc discover the worth of unconditional love. he knew what was most important and it made a difference for the whole town. i would have liked to see the mercantile owner be changed but maybe that will be a different story.

I wasn’t expecting this book to be so entertaining and well written. Much better than most of the bride type romance stories. The two main characters seemed real as did the son, and the supporting characters, including the negative ones.

The story was good but it was not the story that was advertised in the blurb . Not sure why I did not get the story I asked for.

Lots of interesting characters to read about as the love between the doctor and miss marks blooms. Clean reading for all ages.

A charming romance with great character development. Little to no heat for those who like something spicier.

I ordered this for my mum for a slightly late christmas present. She said it was a lovely story and one of the best she'd read from mills & boon
