A review...and some tips!
I bought this holster to fit a standard Taurus G3C equipped with a Streamlight TLR-7 flashlight (model #69420, the version with the small, flush-mounted switches at the rear), for storage, or as a "bug-out" holster. It allows you to store the gun and a spare mag safely and securely, but ready for use or transport at a moment's notice. The holster appears well made - tight, even stitching and quality materials. For the price, and made in 'Merica, you can't beat it. The retention straps (front and rear) attach to the holster with velcro. The velcro patches on the holster itself are attached to two loops that are stitched at each end. This will permit you to add another piece of velcro to cover the retention straps when you've adjusted them to fit your gun, making sure the straps don't pull loose. I set up the retention strap to retain the gun at the top of the grip, below the slide, rather than at the rear of the slide. I think this is a better set-up. I somewhat agree with the reviewers who question having a spare mag on the same side as the gun. This isn't normal carry practice, but it does give you a spare magazine on your person, which is the important thing. I don't plan to use this holster for carry, but it's still a point to consider. A note about finding the right holster for your gun - there are dozens of "does this holster fit my gun/light/laser combo?" questions, just on these Federal Holsterworks products alone (and I added one to the collection). I've noticed something about holsters that use metal "snaps" to fasten the retention strap. There's apparently an industry standard used for these fasteners. The smooth outer part is 15mm in diameter. This was true for a couple other holsters I checked before I even ordered this one. If you print out the photo of the holster on the Amazon page and enlarge it so that the snap measures 15mm, you now have a life-size image of the holster, and you can lay your gun on top to check the fit. I did this with this holster (and a couple others of the same brand) and this holster looked to be exactly what I needed. And when it arrived, the snap was the standard diameter. This is old-fashioned method to check holster fit (and I'll admit it - I'm an analog guy), but it works, and it saves you buying and returning holsters until you find one that suits your gun.

Good price
Works pretty good because my gun has a laser so it has the extra room to accommodate it

Nice fit for Taurus G3 - nicely constructed.
Strong and robust construction. Had sufficient adjustment to fit most 9mm autos. Reasonably priced.

Great product
This fit my Sd40ve perfectly! It has a little room for a light or laser if I wanted. It feels very high quality. I’m very happy with it so far

Nice, cheap holster!
This holster fits an SD9 well, and seems to be constructed of good materials. Can't really ask more of it at this price.

Good for price
Good for the price. Holster is not quite firm enough to sit perfectly upright on belt. The belt clip and the way it's attached to the holster is to blame for that. Cool thing is the holster can be switched from left to right side. Make sure you get a good sturdy belt to use for this. If you put the clip on the inside of your wasteband the clip will dig in to your hip and it's unconformable. I only use this holster when camping as I can carry a second magazine and I dont care if gets beat up or dirty. All in all a decent holster for occasional use. Definitely not an EDC holster.

Veteran Review
Ok.. The breakdown of thus holster.. (keep in mind the price) It is a great deal for the price! I have a sd9ve with iprotec laser. It fits snug in holster yet easy to draw and reholster. Once adjusted, the snap is easily flipped to draw quickly but not quite combat speed. Yet, with practice, that may be able to be accomplished. There is only ONE thing that I DON'T like and that is that the velcro straps don't have back strapping that would secure them better. Though, I plan on adjusting them and sewing in place to counter this problem. If you are looking for a holster to accommodate your pistol that has an underbarrel laser for a good price, stop looking and purchase this!
