Worked for us. Birds had been on our deck daily leaving a daily mess. Once we put the owls out. They stopped landing on our porch.I used a 6 inch bungee attach the owl to our deck railing.One of the owls head did not spin properly. I fixed it by attaching an inch or so of duct tape to the owls fin. That worked.

These owls are great. As soon I set them on the pool the birds that are in the trees started squawking and then flew off. A great product and will buy more for the lake house.Thanks

Not sure if it is just the dang birds in my yard are that determined or these are not very effective but it seems that they are still trying to nest nearby even after rotating these to different locations. Only going to knock it down one star because to me they seem good but I just wonder if I have some angry birds trying to nest as they don't seem to mind attacking me also.

It’s OK. Only had about a week. We put the owl on a pole that reaches the second story of our house. The first day or so the pigeons flew away from it. They got used to it rather quickly and unfortunately continue to land on our roof & crap all over our house & yard. Our neighbors have solar panels on their roof & the pigeons have made them their home. The neighbors won’t do anything to solve the problem so I didn’t hold much hope for the owl but was worth a try. I think the pigeons are just to comfortable for the owl to bother them much. Maybe under different circumstances it wld work better. Sadly when the neighbors house has become a literal bird house inside and out this owl did not work for us.

The first time I’ve seen fake owls that’s head swivel. There’s something you can place on the back of their heads so that the wind makes the heads move. Can’t wait to use them in our backyard!

At first I had missing parts to the owls and I contacted the company and they were so nice to send me another one. I love the owls and definitely keeps the birds out.

So 2 owls, each one gets one star. Really no problem with the build quality. For the price they are really good looking owls, but they just didn't work. Ok they worked for about 2 hours, after which a bird flew right next to the owl and started building a nest. "Oh hi owl, I'm just going to put this nest right next to your foot here if you don't mind".Now to be fair I am in a really difficult spot here in the desert Southwest US. There just aren't any trees around so these birds are totally desperate to nest anywhere they can find, usually houses and other structures unfortunately. I believe we are dealing with mainly finches and sparrows here. I have never found decoys of any kind to be effective so I am not really surprised and the owls are certainly not expensive so I decided to give it a shot honestly because nothing works here....at all!. I got these owls because they were just tall enough to fit underneath this eave we have where the birds have a protected spot right on top of this shade casing that's mounted there.So perhaps you have a different situation. Not likely you will find anything else for that price that's going to work. If you do please let me know!! Again, the quality and everything else about the product is good but they just didn't work in my case.

I’ll be honest—these owls won’t be winning any beauty contests, but they absolutely do what they’re supposed to. My patio furniture used to be a favorite target for every bird in the neighborhood, thanks to the tree above it. Since setting these owls up, I haven’t had to clean up a single mess. They might not be the cutest addition to my deck, but if it means no more bird poop, I’m not complaining!
