Lovely enough to gift
I bought this to give as a gift. The colors are very beautiful and it is a nice size. I wish it had come with a syringe. I had to order one separately to adjust the amount of air so the sand will fall a little slower.

It’s simple and nice to watch. There are air bubbles at the top all the time which can be annoying but overall it’s cute.

ok effect with very tiny amount of gold sand..
I want to love it, but only like it, because it is just a plastic ring and plastic base and can not see the gold color really at all. Basically just white and black sand with a very small amount of gold.

Just as advertised.
I opened the box less than hour ago. Put a tea light behind it to backlight it. Flipped it a few times and shook the bubbles up to make them small (important). Here is what it looks like. Just lovely.

My mom loves it.
I bought it as a substitute gift for my moms 81st birthday. Her main gift was held up in shipping. Got it before her birthday and gave it to her. She has the beginning of Alzheimer’s and doesn’t always engage in things other than the tv. She absolutely loves this and is almost constantly messing with it. She loves it even more than her “real” gift when it arrived. Best thing I ever bought her. Yes there is bubbles but it adds to the pictures.

To much air
I’ve had one of these since I can remember but mine broke when we moved two years ago and this one had so many reviews that were really good so I thought it would be good to go with unfortunately there’s so much air inside of it that my sand doesn’t move I have to stand there and tap it and shake it and move it and I shouldn’t have to do that guy I’m going to probably end up throwing it away even though I spent money on it and try to find a better one that doesn’t have too much air
