I used this for my exotic longhair since he made it VERY clear I wasn't going to get any of his knots out without bloodshed. The tiny monster tried his best to get it off. At one point I had to stop because I was laughing so hard as he had both paws on the bubble trying his level best to pull it off.Don't let your cat fool you, at first they may go limp making you think grooming with a bubble will be a breeze. Fast delivery! We call this the Bubble helmet. I use this in conjunction with a grooming bag to trim my cats claws. Prior to this, I had to have my husband help me and she would growl and spit during nail trimming! I tried the calming tablets, treats and even tranquilizer tabs. The vet was going to anesthetize her each time at $65 per visit. So thankful I found the grooming bag and this bubble helmet. Now I can do it by myself.

Got the medium, but underestimated the size of my cat. If you have a chonk get the large. Still works though because the strap is plenty long enough. The bottom plastic part doesnt fully close but its still effective as my cat isnot really aggressive(just growls a lot).

We call this the punishment helmet at my house. It works very well to keep my cats from biting. It even fits my super chubby cat that I have to find extra large collars for. At the same time it fits my regular sized cats. They can hold up their heads with it on, but they just don’t want to. The embarrassment of wearing it is just too much! 😹Even my little devil turns into a sad limp sack when wearing it. The air holes are just large enough to stick treats in, which has some serious entertainment value watching them maneuver to get them. One cat did repeatedly smack this against a wall trying to remove it, but he’s a weirdo.

Was gonna be perfect but my 9.5 lb maltipoo neck size less than 10 inches, snout was a little too long. I know it said for cats but hard to find for dogs. So it was too small. Good sturdy, thick plastic tho. Would recommend for small snouts

After my boyfriend’s cat punctured my hand, I developed a slight fear of getting bit my kitties during grooming. She is only 6lbs but she bit like a python! I mean she drew blood!I tried this out on our cats and they just stood still for us. I guess the world is very different when you have a hamster ball on your head. I highly recommend this to anyone grooming a cat. Just make sure you secure it well.
