I have bought 3 different versions of this book bag for traveling purposes to use as my personal item for airlines. I have not had any issues when traveling with this bag as my free personal item. I have packed a pair of sneakers and about 3 outfits along with the toiletries in the separate toiletry bag it includes and it all fit perfectly. It is easy to carry or wear on your back due to the side holder and the padding on your back when you wear it. The compartments are super convenient for my needs so that I know where everything is stored when I travel. I did purchase the light color beige and was easy to spot clean. The durability is excellent I have used it on 10 trips and no tears or zipper issues. Just be careful not to overstuff while packing as the zipper can come apart of its track, that is what happened to me with my first purchase. My second purchase was one for my daughter because she loved mine!

UPDATE: Worked beautifully! Fit under seat in front of me, and was extremely comfortable to carry. Very glad I got this one!This backpack has lots of room, is well made, and I can’t wait to use it on an upcoming trip. Going on a low budget airline and using only my personal item allowance for luggage, will be more than adequate for a 3 day trip. Love that the straps are padded and can be hidden away, and love the extra security pocket on the back. The color is very pretty, and all seams are sturdy with great zippers. Price was comparable to others without so many features, and there was a discount coupon also. So happy with this purchase!

I purchased this bag for my recent trip and it was beyond expectation! There are so many pockets to this bag! It has 1 main large compartment with straps to secure clothes or accessories if using as a carryon luggage bag, then it has to thin but full size zippered compartments on front and back; one for your laptop, and the front one had a washable insulted lining for wet things. The straps are padded and make carry it very comfortable. I used this basically as a diaper bag for our trip and it worked out great for during flight and then while at our destination. The straps on the side are also great to help compress the items in the bag to help fit under your seat, which i did not have any issues with it fitting. The water bottle pocket on the side held my knock off simple modern 30oz just fine with no issues. The bag itself does not weigh hardly anything and folds up small for storage which was a plus as well. The small clear bags that came with were not that great, seemed cheap, did not use, but overall the backpack itself is fantastic! I would highly recommend!

Last year, we bought this for a week in Puerto Rico, flying on Spirit Airlines. It holds a lot of luggage, and we liked having different compartments. It expands, too. And it is approved as a personal item by Spirit Airlines, fits under the seat or in overhead, no problem.We also used it on a 10-day trip to Iceland on a cheap ticket without checking luggage. Again no problems.The only thing that broke is the bottle holder. The mesh is cheap and does not hold up--the elastic detached from the mesh. It will still hold the bottle, but not safely--the bottle now flies out if we are not careful. Overall very useful piece of luggage and has been used a lot.

I was looking for a smaller backpack to travel with on the airplane. I was using a hiking backpack that had a million pockets and different compartments, but was too long to fit under the seats in the plane and would stick out into the feet area. So I found this back pack and it works great!! The color is amazing-the pictures may not do it justice, but it is a beautiful mint color! Love it!! It fits nicely under the seat and has a ton of different compartments from small to large. It has a main compartment where I had a set of clothes, my toiletries and some other things. I could have put more in there too. There is a thinner large compartment for wet items, so I put all my liquid toiletries in there, but could have fit way more. There are a couple other thin large pockets either for documents or a laptop possibly. There is a small front pocket for quick access to gum or chapstick kinda things and a small back pocket for your wallet and passport and even your phone too! They are decent sized “small” pockets! The zippers are good quality. The shoulder straps are comfortable and breathable-I was looking for padded shoulder straps but most of the “stylish” back packs don’t have padding, but these are actually pretty nice and wide so feels comfortable loaded. The chest strap helps a lot too. The shoulder straps can be stored away and used as a small bag. It has handles on the top and side of the bag for easy handling. The mesh side pocket did hold my mint colored 20 oz bottle, but had to be careful taking the pack off because the bottle would easily fall out if I tilted the pack. The side clasps can be used to compress the pack smaller or hold a jacket. The large compartment has a large sleeve pocket with a couple of smaller sleeve pockets. They were easy to access from the top end when the backpack was full, but wish there were more small pockets in that compartment. Overall, this is my new favorite back pack to travel with!! (And I did love my old pack!)

Backpack function is very handy when traveling, as well as the luggage handle strap. Super nice to be able to board a plane with a hardcase carry-on for overhead storage and this backpack style personal bag for underseat.Having some sort of dividers might be nice. The small storage pockets aren't that well thought out. I wouldn't overpack this or handle it roughly.Overall, I'm quite happy with it and was able to travel 6 weeks with this and a hardcase carry-on. Much easier to use than a regular backpack.

Lo que me gustó es el diseño y el material, lo que puede ser algo que genere problema es la agarradera lateral para llevarla como maleta, se siente que podría despegarse por el peso si se manipula por mucho tiempo.

Excelente material, muy cómoda, cabía perfecto en el avión y los colores son preciosos, de verdad la súper recomiendo, es más de lo que esperaba.

Was given as a gif and the person really like how much stuff she can put in it. Seem very well made, came with 2 transparent pouch and easy to adjust the strap. Just a month old, so time will tell if it"s a 5 stars!
