Nice quality cable but chin slider is useless
I'll be honest, I bought this cable in purple primarily as a fashion statement. It's a beautiful cable that looks almost like jewelry, is pliable, and is comfortable to wear. My IEMs sound great (although they don't sound better than they do with a 4-core cable), no complaints on that account. The main problem I have with the cable is that because it is very pliable and has a slightly rubbery texture, it has a tendency to get tangled in my hair and clothes, especially if I wear it down my back where IEM cables are supposed to go, instead of hanging down the front like earbud cables. Then my IEMs get dislodged from their nice seat in my ears. This might not be a problem if the chin slider worked, but it doesn't work at all and doesn't actually snug anything. It's pretty, it looks like a decorative metal bead, but it's too loose on the cables and falls right back down after I snug it up. I don't know if my set is defective or what, but this makes the cable kinda useless for listening while moving around. For sitting at my desk, where I have the wires going down the front instead of behind my shoulders, it's fine. On the fence about whether I'm going to keep or exchange this or not.Edited 2/15: I ended up exchanging the first cable I got for another of the same, and the chin slider on the second is much more effective. It is still looser than I would like it to be, and moves around as you move around, but it does not just fall back down immediately like the original one did. I left the number of stars the same because this cable is still mostly useful for stationary use because it is drapey and heavy (the metal cable splitter alone is very heavy) and therefore swings around a lot if you use it on the go. For that, it would make more sense to get a lighter-weight cable with fewer cores (I have the Tripowin Sirene) and if you're using IEMs with your phone you probably won't notice any sound differences anyway.
