Was given a triangular bandage sling which was generally speaking only a temporary fix and incredibly uncomfortable! Therefore I immediately started looking for something more practical and came across this sling, I felt so much more comfort and support to my AC joint injury to my shoulder and it did help subside the pain a little by keeping my arm stable.As I had also injured my right arm and being right handed I had a tendency to always try and do things with my dominant arm lifting it in the sling. The added body strap is great because it has deterred me from doing that, reminding me to not try and move the injured joint.Thankfully this sling has been brilliant in terms of relieving my neck pain and supporting the injured joint definitely worth the money!

My partner recently broke his elbow in a bike accident, and it was immediately obvious that the NHS-provided white square of muslin from A&E was not going to see him through 6-8 weeks of normal life. Before ordering this one we purchased a substantially cheaper (£5-6) version of roughly the same concept, with a padded neck strap and arm pouch, but this sling is far superior. It is very well built and has a sort of springy suspension to it. The neck strap will still eventually start to pull after a long day of wearing, but then it also has an optional waist strap for just that eventuality to take some of the strain. You do not need to guide your arm through any openings to put it on as it velcros up along the top, which is a godsend in the early stages of healing, and it is easy for the wearer to put on themselves. The design is much more streamlined and attractive than other, cheaper offerings and the colour makes it relatively discrete to wear and doesn't show dirt. I think that 'supersoft' might be overstating the texture of it, but really you can't do better, and the design really does give the wearer more comfort, freedom and flexibility whilst the arm heals.

Velcro strap does not support the weight of the arm. I am a physiotherapist and this was used for a fractured collarbone, after trying this on I have worsened the injury due to the attachment not holding in place even though fixated to the best of its capability. Very disappointed with the product only to then find this is not suitable for returns!

A quality product which is comfortable to wear and is very adjustable. There are 2 points that mights be helpful however, 1. the sling supports well but is rather large. It completely enveloped my arm and sits way above the elbow. This may obviously suit some but i felt that it did not allow air to circulate and can make your arm rather sweaty, which is a nuisance if wearing for long periods. 2. the separate elbow strap is thin/not padded and can be uncomfortable on your bicep. 3.

HiI purchased the Neo-G arm sling following a break to my arm just below the shoulder, after attending the local A&E dept I was given a very basic neck sling which in no way provided the support I required. The Neo-G has been my life saver since my break two weeks ago!It is soft and spongy but firm enough to provide the necessary support, the shoulder strap is adjustable and has velcro on both ends so the sling can be worn universally.All in all an excellent product which I can wholly endorse, thanks Noo-G and Amazon!

Following surgery on an unstable wrist fracture, I was given a comfortable elevating arm sling by the hospital. After a few weeks, the Velcro fasteners were beginning to relax their grip so I searched for a similar replacement. When the Neo-G arm sling arrived I was very pleased with it, but after a day's constant wear I began to experience problems which caused discomfort. It is a universal size, most suited to a tall man (I'm a 5ft 2inch woman) so my painful cast-covered arm was quite lost in the support. The strap didn't keep my arm elevated and was so sharp at the edges it cut into my neck. The neck strap on my hospital sling is softly padded throughout its length and is comfortable at any adjustment. If the Neo G came in different sizes and had a properly padded neck strap, I would have been happy to wear it constantly for the 6 weeks I need to keep my arm elevated and protected. However, I am now getting a second hospital supply sling instead.

After breaking my collar bone, i was struggling to keep my arm still with the hospital supplied sling, healing process was taking ages as i could not keep the shoulder still.After reading the reviews i ordered this sling and am i glad i did, it is very comfortable and with the extra waist strap retains the arm and shoulder in place really well, healing is now well on the way and i do think without this i would have still been struggling.This is a really great sling also its very well made, if your struggling with an ordinary sling and want something comfortable and that will help to mobilise your arm for healing this is it !
