Decent but not as good as others in the '1000 Series'
There were some nice inspirational photos but it loses a point on the first chapter, Brand Identity, which features one-dimension 120 logos most of which were not that nice. Had they showed the logos in application it would have improved it a bit.

Rockport wins again
Yet another awesomely produced book by Rockport. Like the content, the quality of the whole piece is top of the field. Shipping wasn't bad. The book arrived in flawless condition, though the package padding was oddly only on one side inside the box. Potential for damage there.

Not what I expected...
This book is NOT a design book! It is an excellent collection of retail graphics. The full-color illustrations are large enough to give you an overall idea without letting you steal the details. However, I was expecting it to be more organized from a design perspective.Nonetheless, I'm glad I bought it! It's a good source of inspiration for color choices, shapes, and logotypes for signage and POPs. Not a great "reference" book per say, but every designer needs an "idea book" - this one just comes prepackaged! It's a good book at a good price.

An interesting read. May come in handy if looking ...
An interesting read. May come in handy if looking for a layout but really has nothing necessary or exciting.
