Works great for inspecting trading cards
I use this to inspect trading cards to send in for grading. It magnifies and lights up the cards perfectly

not the sturdiest stand
works great, but the stand is a little too small, it has tipped over on the wife a few times.

Magnifer
A little disappointed ☹️. I assumed that since there was a USB port that you were able to charge the base and the light would work off the charged base. You have to still be able to plug it in and have a outlet closE by. Working from your dining table leaves the cord hanging in open space. On a better note the magnifier is great

Disappointing
This is the first product I purchased from this company that I was totally dissatisfied with. I have several of their magnifiers and I love them all but not this one. First of all it took more than a week before they even shipped it and by the time I get it it was almost 2 weeks since I ordered it. That is totally ridiculous. How about the product. The first thing right off the start the cord is too short to reach outlets. I don't know why they decided not to make this an item that runs on batteries like the rest of the products they have. The cord is just not able to reach and it gets in the way. There's plenty of room in the base to have put battery compartments or make the unit rechargeable but this is simply hard to use because the court is always in the way and it doesn't reach so you have to use an extension cord. Secondly the neck is entirely too stiff and makes it hard to adjust the magnifier properly. It's very hard to maneuver and I have arthritis so it makes it very difficult to try and bend the neck. It also makes it hard when you're trying to read since they did not make the magnifier 8 and 1/2 x 11 page size you have to continuously move the magnifier and because of the stiffness you're continuously having to readjust and it's very hard to bend. I suppose if I didn't have arthritis it would be a bit easier but I doubt it. I don't understand why they decided to make this magnifier smaller than a page size so that you have to move it continuously when you're reading but they did and I think it was a very poor decision. Thirdly, the price is $40 and I just don't see where it is a $40 item. I've used many of their other magnifiers that cost half that price they run on batteries and I'm very happy with him. This magnifier just fell short of being anything satisfactory. It takes forever to get it because they don't ship it right away it's overpriced the cords too short and it's very hard to use. Again, maybe if you didn't have arthritis you could bend that stiff neck a lot easier but I don't understand why they couldn't make the gooseneck more pliable. It just isn't up to the standards that magnipros other products are. I'm really not happy with this item. I would recommend a lot of their other magnifiers because I've used them and they're really good but this one should have been thought about a little harder before they manufactured it. It is totally and completely and unsatisfactory item for $40 therefore I would not recommend this to anybody unless they just like to be frustrated and trying to use something that was not created to be easily used. Definitely did not recommend anybody purchasing this item unless they make improvements which it drastically needs.

Excellent Magnification
I am an older person with a mild case of cataracts. I often read books with fairly small print and so over the years it has become more difficult to see the small print due to my cataracts. I tried a number of magnification products but I was not happy with any of them. But then I tried the MagniPros 4X Magnifying Glass with Bright LEDs and Stand. I must say that I am very pleased with this product. Reading with this magnifier is very comfortable and feels natural. If your book is not too large you can see a whole page at once. If your book is on the larger side so that the whole page is not shown at once, it is a simple matter of moving the book around to keep your reading location in view. I also like the fact that the knob which controls the illumination allows you to pick from an infinite range of settings starting from off up to the maximum that the leds put out. Highly recommended.Update: I have been using the magnifier now for 3 months and I must say that it has become an indispensable tool to help me read. I use it on an almost daily basis. Anyone who needs magnification help for reading should get this product. I would like to add a comment about my experience with the Magnipros customer support. All I can say is their customer support IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS.

Nice, light, reasonably bright light; but a bit small and unstable
In some ways this is a perfect magnifying light; but it's too small to see a full page in most books, too short a distance from base to light for comfortable positioning, and SO lightweight that it tends to fall over. So it might work for looking at small things if 'nailed down' somehow, but not as suitable for reading as the ad implies (which is why, despite 5 stars for individual items, I can't give it more than 2 overall). A simple magnifying glass and a separate light would almost certainly be a better solution.

Helpful
This tool is very handy. I use it when making a painted ornament for Christmas time. Can see my reference photo on phone and then can use to see details on the artwork I’m doing. I did some of my friends pets on wooden ornaments. Fun and easy to use.
