This is a fascinating account of the most necessary prosecution of our time. The alleged egregious criminal conduct involving hundreds of millions of dollars over a prolonged period of years deserved to be tried in court. Pomerantz gave it his best shot. His superbly written, detailed description of the ups and downs of attempting to bring the serial miscreant to justice is an engrossing, page-turning read for anyone interested in one of the most unfortunate periods of US modern history. Putting politics aside, any ordinary citizen committing such crimes would be routinely brought to court without any hesitation whatsoever. I hope we live to see a further chapter in which justice is finally done, and the subject character of People vs Donald Trump is shown not to be untouchable by the criminal justice system.
