Worked out the box. Volume control isn’t very good, it struggles to run Ps1 games, and fx chip SNES games, but for £40 it’s amazing. Runs GBA, Megadrive games perfectly.

The media could not be loaded.  Menu items are clear and simple to use. Excellent amount of games on system so no need to find them on the net, however if you want to add more to the library it was very straight forward, just downloaded and added to micro SD card. Could not get PC to link to device so could not add direct to built in micro SD card, which is located behind battery. You can remove this card but I choose to add a 2nd one to extra slot provided on the side of device. Worked with no problems but you do have to find the file where games are stored on 2nd SD card but you link to favourites. Screen is very bright but you have brightness controls to low this. I was surprised it could play some PSX 1 games, so added a few more. For the price this is a very good and well built system, battery last 4-6 hours depending on brightness settings.

Great value for a retro console for all your retro gaming needs. You might need to do some tweaking with the OS as the one that ships out the box isn’t the best. Luckily there’s a lot of online resources and help to do this. Overall, great little device

It's a nifty and smooth handheld that gave me 5h of great nostalgia and then decided to stop working. Like other reviews mention, it started restarting on its own and it won't fix itself. Looks like a solder issue, but I wont open it up to check. Instead I'll return it

I am very impressed. Battery life seems decent, easy to use, uses USB-C charging and comes with a cable for it, also comes with a 3 color pin cable to plug into the TV via the scart connection (it comes with the cable for this too but you will need the 3 color adaptor to scart to use) Then you can use it like a controller on the big screen. Has a volume dial on the side though I noticed it doesnt fully mute it when all the way down and past half way it doesnt get any louded so it may not be configged correctly. Everyone needs one of these. It includes so many games, and not the bad ones you never have heard of, you will definitely recognize these, also has some modded and user created games added. Lots of emu's, only up to PSX as there will be a limitation due to the lack of buttons, but it seems all customizable so I am sure you could work something out. Save states and easy menus to get through, video and audio player as well. What I have always wanted in my life.

Good retro game good value not that difficult to use when you get the hang of it

Out of the box it worked, after one shutdown and switch back on, it crashed in settings. Then wouldn’t restart and froze on the boot loading screen.After researching I found that almost every person who has purchased these has had the same problem and the solution is this.Buy a new SD card, install the operating system and emulators on it, transfer that to the device.Which in some cases, doesn’t even seem to work.So they’re selling a product that doesn’t work, is known to not work and that you need to buy further products to attempt to make it work, intentionally. Pretty weird that Amazon allows that but hey, profit is profit.

I Love it, sound quality is amazing and original. the screen is very good, long batterie life.Lot of games to enjoyPS1 games on any 3D games will not work or it can work but very slow.I gave it 5 stars as I can play all my childhood fav gamesRecommended
