Used wood
It came without black painting and you can see this is reused wood. It does the work but it is very basic and easy to damage. I recommend you 3D print it instead of buy this one, you. An get a sturdier version compared to this product.

Different from advertised.
I was expecting plastic, received cardboard. Concerned about falling into rough environment (water streams, snow.. ). Other than this, it works as intended.

In focus
This is exactly what you think it is. A well made item in my opinion. This is actually the first bahtinov mask that I have owned. Been doing AP for a few years now and have always focused visually. The mask did make it easier. Just line up the pattern and you’re good to go. I used this on a 6” ACF ( too small for this mask) and I managed to make it work. Jupiter was the target and my images came out fairly sharp. I did have a problem removing the protective paper but that didn’t affect the performance of the mask, just aesthetic.

Fits well, questionable quality though
We got this for our large telescope. It was very easy to put on and install, it screwed on securely, and was an excellent fit. It really worked well at helping us focus the telescope. I think my biggest qualm about it is the quality of it. It looks and feels like it's made of a thick cardboard or particle board or something, it feels very flimsy and I'm worried about it getting any type of moisture at all whether water or humidity or anything. It feels like it would ruin very easily. I feel like I have to be extra careful putting in on and taking it off as well because I don't want the holes to wear away or tear or break or anything. So overall it does work well I'm just worried about how long it will last.

Poor quality plastic
The plastic is poor quality. When purchased the mask arrived broken, returned with request to replace, the second arrived in worse shape. If the mask doesn't make it through shipping, won't last in the field. Probably ok for smaller aperture but for 200 MM. Not likely.

arrived broken
After waiting more than a month to receive it, it came broken in four pieces. Very flimsy.
