Hathaway Deluxe Bocce Ball Set Multi

These balls are HEAVY and very beautiful. Great Bocce set, I am so glad I went with this one over the other cheaper ones available. I love having four colors as it allows for more people to play if you have a group. It came with instructions and the carrying back is pretty slick.Not sure what else to say .. they are heavy, shiny, good-looking, and come with a great carry-bag. What's not to like?I was a little bummed to find that even though the balls were individually wrapped in plastic, they all had little scuffs and scrapes on them. Nothing so extreme as to be a big deal, but it's a bummer to get dinged up balls in a brand new set. I don't get how that could happen. Let's be honest, though - they're going to get dinged up when you play with them. So it's not a deal-breaker. But it does take away a star. The factory needs to figure out how to send out flawless balls.

Was looking for Petanque and not Bocce ball, which are different. But sent them back and was reimbursed. FIne...Maybe should I have known the difference, and maybe should it be useful to buyers that it was mentionned that it is not the same...

The first thing you notice as you unpack this set is that the bag is both beautiful and seemingly well made. I say, "seemingly" because I will be returning this set (more on that in a second) and thus can't tell its longevity.It's a good thing that the bag is sturdy too because while these balls are the 107mm standard size (yes, I measured), they are significantly heavier than the international standard. 910-930gms is the international standard. I weighed 2 balls and they came in at 1165gms and 1174gms (about 13% too heavy). TO BE FAIR - the listing doesn't mention the ball weight specifically. They do say, "tournament-quality balls" which kind of implies it though.I wasn't worried about the weight or lack of the supposedly included tape measure though. The reason I'll be returning this set is simple:THE BALLS WERE SCRATCHED TO HELL UPON ARRIVAL (see photos) and their were numerous flaws in the finish on each ball. I don't know if I received a heavily used set but EVERY ball had deep scratches and weird flaws in the finish. I took a few pictures of the many scratches.TLDRThe bag is nice, no tape measure included, balls are heavier than regulation if that matters to you, balls come pre-scratched to hell

Having a great case is so important to protecting your balls. This case is the best I've seen.

I recieved the package and when I opened it, one of the balls had a small scratch. The rest of the set was well crafted and I would order from them again.

After playing a couple long games on the beach, I can say this is a quality product. Heavy balls.

Super well made, with high quality leather carrying/storage case. Worth the price entirely if you are looking for a good set to last a lifetime.

Good quality and weight. Great carrying case. A bit too pricey though. Paint chips a bit, if you bounce the ball off a rock (I'm a poor shot).Game instructions are a bit simplified buy you can always Google those. I would have liked a non-stretchy measuring string to be included for the price.

Looks great just received today have not tried it out yet. It is heavier then I thought. I’m sure sure my mother will be able to hold the ball, she is 83 🤔

Definitely worth the money. These are well made, with a good weight, and seem like they will be long lasting. The colours are bright. The storage bag is perfect! We are having so much fun playing Bocce again, after several years of not having a set.

Deluxe??? Spring has sprung, kids are in quarantine due to this terrible Corona virus. Time to break out the Christmas gifts. First shot, broke white ball. Sigh.
