Hilariously funny
4.5⭐️Never has a book made me laugh from start to finish. This book is about three friends ( Mallory, Caz and Olly) who ask the ‘universe’ for help in matters of the heart. It centers on Mallory who unknowingly submits a fake CV, which contains all the skills she doesn’t have, for a job.Her life takes on a roller coaster of activities and antics alongside her friends who have to face their own ‘battles’.I love the way the author has weaved the plot and the setting was superb. I could just picture myself on the streets of Glasgow. All of the characters were good and did exactly what was required of them. The MCs were developed and well rounded by the end of the book.I appreciated how the author highlighted the impact intrusive journalism has on the subjects.I enjoyed the journey to the friends’ happily ever after and will not mind if the author revisits them in another book.If you are looking for a book which will leave you giggling from start to finish with a very captivating plot then I recommend this.

Perfect for throwing in your case for a beach read.
What a fun book this is. We hit the ground running being introduced to the three main characters immediately, Mallory, Caz and Olly. I’m all about asking the universe for what I need and want so I was invested straight away when I read about the trio doing exactly this. The story bounces along at pace. It’s a tried and tested formula and the story was enjoyable but there weren’t too many surprises along the way. I’d describe this as a romp or a romcom read really. It would make a good film and it’s perfect for throwing in your case for a beach read.

3friends
Olly, Mallory and Caz are three friends that can't find love. In a Valentine's Day ritual they make a pact and asks the universe for help.Mallory gets her dream job, but there is a big problem, her CV or not her CV. Her CV that she made to help her feel better and one day she hoped would be true is in the hands of someone she likes, so when he asks her for help, she could only say "Yes" even if she can't cook, it can't be that hard can it?Caz is trying to find a man she has meet but never told him how she felt about him. Will she find him? Will he be the one? Olly, knows his One but can he tell her. Olly really wants to tell Mallory that he's the One and she doesn't need to look any further but what if she doesn't see or feel the same. What about the friendship they have if he tells her. Would you tell her? This is a enjoyable book to pop in your case and take on holiday or sit in the garden with.

Perfect for rom-com fans
The synopsis appealed to me, as did the cover and I was really looking forward to reading this romantic comedy. Unfortunately, I found it a little bit predictable and was able to guess early on all of what was coming, but this would definitely make a fun rom-com film. I’ve also had to mark it down a star as there are some editing issues with it.Thanks to Bloodhound Books for the ARC.

Loved it!
Oh man this was exactly my kind of read. Misunderstandings, secret love, a pain in the backside ex stirring up trouble and a colourful cast of characters to make you laugh, smile and cry throughout.I loved the night with the CV creation, I can totally picture my friends and I in that situation. One thing I'd have liked would be for Olly to have owned up to Mallory just to see his character growth complete.I kind of hope this could be a series, or at least the same timeline from each of the three friends perspectives because they all had so much to learn throughout. This was a really fun read I'd definitely recommend.

A laugh out loud romance
"When you pretend to be someone you're not, finding love is an even greater challenge" ♥️The story follows protagonist Mallory as she writes a self help CV featuring all the things she wants to achieve in life. A few days later when she accepts a job as an interior designer she is horrified to learn she handed in her fictional CV! This was a great romance novel with some laugh out loud moments and tons of charm. The characters were absolutely adorable (not Don) and I really enjoyed how the story developed. Also I would really love to visit the restaurant in the book as it sounds *chefs kiss* devine!

A fabulously entertaining read
This book was a really enjoyable read. I think the author has given us a nice mix of laugh out loud moments, which I did whilst sat in a coffee shop that got me a few puzzled looks 😁, and then there are the moments that make your heart feel warm. The three friends, Caz, Mallory and Olly are all looking to find the love of their lives and the ups and downs that ensue make for a storyline that is fast paced and keeps you entertained for the whole book. The author’s writing style has a good flow about it and I found it easy to read. The characters are well developed and gives the reader a clear image of each of their personalities. There’s a lot that I want to say, but I don’t want to spoil any of the enjoyment for other readers.I highly recommend this light, bright and good fun romance. My thanks to the author and to LoveBooksTours for gifting me this book. I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

Great Love Story
This is a cracking love story! I really enjoyed it. It’s a real feel good story. Mallory and Alex, along with their friends are brilliant characters and their love story is heartwarming. Though Mallory and Alex are the main characters, this book is also about the love stories of Mallory’s friends Ollie and Cat. It’s well written, intertwining the stories exquisitely so that they fit together perfectly. The book is paced nicely and the story flows along at a good rate. I do love a good romance and this is certainly one of those!
