Great Alternative To ASUS / Acer Offerings
With all the negative reviews I was a little anxious as to how this monitor would turn out. I need not have worried. No dead pixels, fantastic picture out of the box (could do with some minor tweaking which I will get around to), gorgeous colours - this really is a fantastic monitor at the price point.Coming from a 1080p monitor with a TN panel, the step up to 1440p with an IPS panel is a big one. So too is the availability of 165hz refresh rate; I'd always been sceptical about the personal benefit I'd see from anything over 60, but it really is just like people say it is. Everything just feels better.I've not had a chance to give G-Sync a good workout just yet but I've got a very good feeling judging from the rest of this package, I'm going to be happy. It isn't a perfect monitor for sure; there is bleed in all 4 corners, but (at least on this one) it is very minor and I'd really have to go out of my way to even get a little bit worked up about it being there. It is such a non issue. Also, if you like plenty of scope to plug in every single console / PC / media device you own into this monitor at the same time, you are going to be disappointed as there are just two ports; Display Port and HDMI. I'm really struggling to pick any more meaningful faults with it though. With a great feature set and attractive pricing, I see no reason to pay extra for the ASUS or Acer alternatives.Edit: Several months on and I have to say this monitor has not disappointed. G-Sync is incredible; I now understand when people say they could never go back to a non G-Sync monitor after using it. Games look and feel sensational. Given the current price (around £650) there are monitors that outdo this one, but if you can get it for £500 or so, you will not regret this purchase.

Great item for the price and beats the competitors
Pros:- definitely a beautiful display. good color and brightness.- refresh rate is high. remember to change this in geforce control panel.- control on height and angle is really good, It also has a arrow showing the height of the screen in case you need to move the monitor and then find what height it was on.- little to no reflection, because of the matt looking screen you dont get the glare that glass does, this is really useful if you have multiple windows where the sun can get through.- has multiple inputs like hdmi and dp, it also has usb ports that are power so usefull for charging phones.- has a small headphone stand to the right, I dont use it as im lazy and placing the headphone on the desk is way easier.- little branding on front and really nice looking back. something like batmans tumbler.- the base of the montior doesnt stick out to much at all and delivers the support it needs. So very little wobble when slamming desk or typing. ;)- comes with a little button controller so that you can edit the settings of the screen easier.Negs:- screen can get really hot while playing- screen isnt a glossy glass its more like a matt look, this can mean that dirt picks up really easily and dust. This might be that its more visable then a glass screen.CONCLUSION:Not really anything to say negatively about this screen, it's relativity cheap for what you are getting. Make sure that you computer can support 2k and 100fps to make best use of this monitor. maybe use with another monitor as the size of the montior can be a issue when working on anything else when gaming.

Great monitor
Very bright display that is much better than the LG tv it replaced, especially from sunlight from the window. Very strong heavy base and good adjustment.Volume is only accessible from fiddly on screen menu and sound doesn’t sound great. However it’s a monitor and so to have sound is a bonus.Game mode setting are a little odd and not the easiest to set up but very easy to switch between.Overall very good picture and build quality but settings could be better programmed/user friendly
