This is heavy and seems well made. You will probably need the included heat glove if you plan on using this with 2 hands as the back gets quite hot as well. If you have really thick hair, you might not get as good of results as you expect. A flat iron may work better for you. I have fine hair but a lot of it. I find a flat iron is easier for me but this is good for touch ups if needed. This does get pretty hot.

Comes neatly packaged in a nice box with everything needed, including a soft storage bag and a heat protective glove - which is necessary because the back of the paddle gets hot too. Also contains a bonus, pretty little hair clips.The heat setting takes some getting used to, you have to press and hold both up and down arrows for 3 seconds to set the temperature. It was a little confusing to me at first.I'm on the fence: what I love about this is that it does make my hair feel silky, and it is convenient to use - just brush through your hair.What I'm not crazy about: It claims to be able to produce loose curls if you wrap your hair around the brush - but this doesn't seem to work for me. you also need to wear the glove or risk burning your fingers. My flat iron is more effective at straightening, as the brush requires several passes to get my hair straight.Overall it is a very nice hair styling tool. I may just alternate between my flat iron and this, depending on my mood. It's a good price, and I'd recommend it.

Product: Enhanced Negative ion Hair Straightener BrushI’m pleasantly surprised by how effective and easy to use this straightener brush is. It’s much faster to straighten and (slightly) style my hair with this than using a flat iron + brush combo, assuming that one is only trying to straighten the hair because I use my flat iron to curl my hair as well. The brush is easy to hold, is not too heavy, and heats up quickly. I like that I have control over the temperature, and its value (in Fahrenheit) is displayed on the handle. It doesn’t get hot at the end of the bristles, and I can comfortably slide it across my head. These bristles are densely packed, so there are a lot of heated surfaces to execute the ironing job well. However, this density might not work the best if someone has thick and voluminous hair (I have medium to fine hair, and it worked like a charm). I also liked the product's peripherals: a travel pouch, a heat-protection glove (although I've not found this necessary), and some small hair clips. I’ve been using this brush in the morning when I just want a quick fix and run out the door.

Ideally, this would be great! I think it's more so for more fine, wavy hair. I wasn't able to straighten my 4c hair with this "straightener brush" even after blow drying. I wasn't too surprised. It was a large feat for my thick hair. However, I don't think it should be advertised as a straighter brush for thick hair. It would probably work great for my wigs that just need a quick straightening. I will say, it does get pretty hot, and I love that you can change the different heat settings. Overall, good product, just not for my type of hair.

If you are tired of using a flat iron all the time this is a nice change. Heat works a little differently and it is healthier for the hair to use this than the flat iron. Takes a little getting used to though. Leaves hair silky soft and shiny. Heats up fast and comes with clips if you need to section off your hair when you use it. Glove isn't necessary but nice to have.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second time using a straightener brush. This one heats up super quickly (see video). It has little heated plates along the brush.My hair is semi-curly and thick.This isn’t as good as a straightener on my hair. It left it wavy and not pencil straight like my straightener. It is quick and easy, but might be better for thinner (almost straight) hair.Includes a carrying case for easy travel and portability as well as cute little studded clips and a heat protective mitten.

Works great! Heats up quickly and gets very hot so great for really textured hair. Works better than the revlon brand one we got for our daughter initially. It heats up so well, you need the gloves to avoid burning your fingers (not on the plates but rather the hot hair).
