The install in my RV required that I put the soap jug almost 7 feet away and I was worried that the pump wouldn’t have suction to pull the soap that far, but it work’s great.

Feb 2017, replaced same dispenser after 7 years service. Interior plastic neck connection cracked beyond repair. This one labeled as Model 10042 - ( I don't understand how they assign the Model Number sequence). But this one, Model 10042 appears to have far superior design that will withstand use by grand children. The old one, Model 10042A did have a good durable pump design but the plastic connection for the plunger was weak. This one is of much sturdier construction. I was worried because in the photo it appears to have a very glossy a finish. This one does not have a cheap luster finish, it matches my oil rubbed bronze faucet. This model has also been redesigned for tool free easy installation. I like the long tube. It runs to a 2 liter soap bottle which sits in a plastic bag within a cardboard box below the sink (just in case). This saves messy refills. Has the same bottle stopped included - I haven't had any luck with these, they just don't fit the soap bottles. Very pleased with this product design, price and delivery. I have four other dispensers in various sinks some were very expensive and big name brands. I'm betting this one is going to out preform and out last all of them.

I love this thing. No more dish soap on the sink or counter anymore. No more accidental spills or the bottle slipping out of wet hands.Installation could not be easier. You can either use the included bottle or the hose that is included directly into the bottle of dish detergent. If you use the bottle though you will have to refill it from time to time. You just pull the pump up and pour in the detergent.If you install it with the hose there is nothing to refill, ever. The hose connects to the bottom of the pump and goes directly into a bottle of detergent under the sink. I have it set up with the hose and a gallon of detergent under the sink. It will be a long time before I have to worry about changing it out.*TIP - If you install with the tubing make sure you prime it with water first as directed. This will get any air out of the line and get the detergent flowing right away. Also, keep the tubing in as straight a line as possible. At first I had the detergent on the opposite side under the sink and was getting a lot of air in the hose. Once I positioned the bottle under the dispenser and cut the hose shorter I never got air in it again.

UPDATED September 16 2014It still rates five stars even though it broke in the same way as has been described by several other users. Here is the GOOD NEWS! After answering a few simple questions online Danco sent me a complete replacement with a redesigned dispenser top. The new one appears to be a much more robust design and hopefully, even with rambunctious kids, it will be serviceable for years to come.The model on the updated package is 10038 and UPC is 037155015290.May 2014Excellent service, clear description and exactly what I was looking for. I can see where the rough treatment by kids may limit the usefulness of this item. For me it looks like it will suit my needs to a T. I will update this post if my experience changes.
