The proof of the effectiveness of this electronic repellent is yet to be determined
We've been at war with mice in the cabin of our car for a couple years. I have installed one of these units under the hood of my car and one in the cabin. So far, no mice, but it's early. It was easy to set this up by installing two C batteries.in each device. I watched each device go through its predetermined steps and fortunately you do not hear the ultrasonic sound unless you use the test button. The two devices also come with nifty zip ties that can be released and used again. I used two of these zip ties to secure the device under the hood.I will update this review in a couple of months.

works like a charm
I have been having a field mouse issues in my backyard for a couple of years; they were eating all the fruits in my fruit tree. since I put this around my backyard, it has not had a mouse issue. Finally able to enjoy the fruits of my fruit tree again.

Easy to use
My only issue is the battery life is a bit short. Was hoping it would last longer than advertised.

Didn't work at all for me
Been having problems with mice getting into my Class B RV and chewing wires up. The last time they chewed wires in the dash and cost $2000 in repairs. I just went down to check the van to see if they were doing any good, and I found two mice stuck in sticky traps directly beside one of the units. I think they must be coming through the engine headwall, and there are three of these speakers with one under the hood and two under the van. Note also that the headwall was sprayed with peppermint oil and also moth balls were placed in the area, to no avail. I have no idea of how to fix this problem, but I do not recommend these units.

Rodent control???
We bought a pair of these. Put one on our jeep because we had rodent trouble. Found a new mouse nest after a couple weeks. Fluke? Going to try it on our other car too, to see if we get the same response. 😡
