I've now used this for a full year. I work in a role where i'm presenting at least once weekly and occasionally to an audience of 100+ people so I rely on the equipment I use to keep me looking professional and in control (the illusion at least is important..).Firmness and feel - feels solid, nice gloss black buttons and a good solid feel on the 'click'. The countours on each button mean you can feel which button you're on without having to look at the control, this is an important minor advantage for me. The control is a good comfortable size for your hand.Usability and function - easy to figure out, easy to use. The USB piece slides out easily and fits to a USB port easily as expected. It doesn't stick out far - less chance of damage/snapping. If you've used a wireless mouse, keyboard or pointer before then it will be easy to do. If you haven't the instructions are simple and informative. The laser pointer is good and basic, you're unlikely to need to point over 10m distance, if you do you're presenting wrong (or annoying a colleague/pilot/family pet in the garden).Other - it comes in a really nice little PVC case with a zip. Its the perfect fit for this plus two spare batteries. Fits inside my laptop bag without wasting any room and its also very light.This was one of the lowest priced items of its type on sale at the time. I struggle to think how much more I would get for the additional money.I would buy this again but I do not feel like mine will wear out any time soon!

Really great quality. I've compared it side by side with the Logitech R400 (~£40) and it's identical. The only difference I could see was the obvious missing logo. I have no fear about using this infront of a large audience. It feels great in the hand and connected to both my mac and PC laptops first time. I've nothing at all negative to say about it.

I've used this presented for seven months, for several presentations and it has worked flawlessly. There is a small inbuilt red laser pointer, and a little pullout USB wireless connection. The wireless gizmo worked first time - no DVD or CD install needed. The presenter is comfortable in the hand and I've used it up to 20 feet from the receiver with no issues. The one set of batteries has lasted months so far. The only gripe I have is that the button for the laser pointer is quite small and a couple of times I've moved slides forward when trying to use the pointer. But for less than 8 quid, it's been a superb buy

I would have given this no stars, but it's not possible to do so. Ordered this via Prime as my existing Targus remote was broken and had a presentation to give the next day. On receipt was not boxed and had smudged fingerprints on it as if someone else had already used the product. Put new batteries in and plugged in the USB - nothing - light lit up on the remote, but no functionality. Tried different batteries, tried swapping the USB port, tried everything. Faulty product - no laser light, no functional presentation buttons. A complete waste of money and now I don't have a remote for my presentation tomorrow. I was clearly sent a faulted product that had already been returned. Very poor show Amazon. Not impressed.

My only criticism, and it wouldn't put me off buying one, is the USB dongle is not short and stubby, but is 45mm long so sticks out quite a bit from my laptop.Only time will tell if it lasts, but other than that tiny item, for £8.50 it's brilliant, so go for it.

Its OK - but sadly the forward/reverse trigger's are a bit hit & miss - annoying :(

For the price, very good value for money, as opposed to more expensive equivalents.
