Amazing stuff
I had a Cocker Spaniel who sadly developed pancreatic and subsequently heart problems. We changed him onto SanoN and there was a definite improvement in his condition and really impressed the vet. I genuinely think it gave him a much better quality of life for some time and he really enjoyed

Good for stabilising kidney levels
My elderly dog's kidney levels on a recent blood test showed that her kidneys were starting to struggle due to old age so a kidney specific diet with low phosphate levels was recommended by the vets. They did also say that most dogs don't like the taste of the kidney specific diets and people have to use one of the phosphate binging products (like ipakitine) with normal food instead.Well my old girl has never had a problem with eating this food, even though she's been fussy about other dry foods recently. The pieces are also really easy for her to eat as although they're quite large, they're also quite flat so she manages just fine, even with 17 year old teeth! I've added warm water to soften them up for her on days where I think she's struggling to eat dry food due to her dementia. My two border collies who don't have kidney issues have also happily eaten this food when I ran out of their regular food and gave them this for a day or so.It is quite expensive for a dry food but the price is pretty reasonable for a kidney specific food I think and changing the diet really is the best way to manage the onset of kidney failure in dogs because there isn't any medicine which can manage the condition or magically regenerate the kidneys, so it really is about helping them to do less work by cutting certain toxins like phosphates out of your dog's food.My dog has had urinalysis done recently and the levels were slightly improved compared to before starting on this food so I'm really happy with it and would definitely recommend it for dogs with kidney issues.
